@dascrazyjapan School in Japan is free. In 4 years your kid starts pre-school. Yeah kids are expensive, and time consuming.... It is kind of part of the package everywhere in the developed world... But most people not wanting to have kids is due to the initial struggles. Not long term hurdlers
