YOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
I’m less political on here than my IG, but we need to make sure we keep fascism out of the White House.
In case you guys forget, register to fucking vote! 🧢🧢 some states have days or hours left.
After my rewatch, their troubled relationship might be my new favorite part of Sam’s trilogy. It’s so realistic, full of disappointments and ego; and a genuine urge to want to do better for your partner but being too immature to realize it before it’s too late. So dynamic.

It’s also great that the audience accepted it in the story when other tv shows have done similar “right place, right time” moments and we somehow view them as “too coincidental.”

If you think they’re boring then I’d hate to see what you think would be exciting.
The fact that they stand out and is a complete departure from what we usually see is the exact reason why it’s not boring.

Some people don’t change and that’s development in itself. Having the opportunity to, knowing you need to, and yet choosing to instead be the same shit person you are because you realize that it gives you more power than humanity. Pay attention.

Sources tend to be anonymous so they don’t ruin their own career. It’s pretty obvious that something major happened when he was suddenly dropped with no excuse given.

It’s a fictional story. Juliet and majority of women roles were played by men during Shakespeare’s time. Would you prefer if it was accurate and two men instead?

The entire original trilogy was a criticism of Vietnam in the perspective of the North Vietnamese and American imperialism and the prequels was a criticism of the Bush administration. There are literal references to Halliburton and Newt Gingrich.
Todd Phillips says Joaquin Phoenix was never actually The Joker:
“He’s always been Arthur Fleck; he’s never been this thing that’s been put upon him, this idea that Gotham people put on him, that he represents. He’s an unwitting icon”

The entire philosophy of a documentarian is that you try your best to distance yourself from having an opinion, but being a human with one is hard to ignore. It’s about toeing the line between the information the experts give, and representing the main issue you want to highlight
@RoseTintedInk
It makes total sense for a nerd to, not only not know how relationships work, but also be ill prepared to deal with fame. And it makes sense for someone with abusive parents to want to feel secure in their relationship and feel troubled when it’s not. It’s realistic and I love it

The difference between her and Lilly is that one film follows one actress and the other film hovers over the other. Emma carried an entire film because it was about her. Lilly unfortunately wasn’t given the role she deserved because her character was secondary to Leo’s

A lot of the shots are also taken as if it were on a floating tripod. It should always be in motion if we’re in Spidey’s perspective. If it’s static, we should be seeing him in the perspective of an onlooker and pan as he swings by.

Depends on the artists style. It could be realistic, cartoon, horror, or tribal-esque. It could be that their style is similar, but some of those strokes are nearly identical.

If you ask someone for their perspective in an argument, do you think their side is considered fiction? Or do you think they have information you might not have thought off or might not affect you, and are then presenting that argument in defense of their own?

I mean, the actor was playing a robot. And said robot gets destroyed in the original film and is destroyed in this film. So it kinda makes sense for why they’d make an animatronic. You know, for the shots where he’s clearly destroyed.

One of my redpoll moments was learning that, before I personally experienced death, death itself did not exist. It’s all new and we just assume now we will be dead by 70 bc that’s normal for humans.

WHO GIVES A SHIT IF THERES A WOMEN OR BLACK PERSON ON SCREEN??? THERE ARE ACTUAL ISSUES THAT EXIST. Seeing a strong woman or suburban minority won’t kill you.
I have to say it again:
Creating a comic as a proof-of-concept for adaptation is disrespectful to the medium. Comics are not your storyboards, and they’re not a lesser medium to be used as a springboard for adaptation.

Working in a coffee shop, I think it’s because people assume that the ice is dirty or that they’re being cheated by the amount of ice being used. You can be paying full price for half a cup of coffee. I usually try to minimize that when I can so people get the most of of it.
