I'd suggest whoever signed off this sentence should also be referred to the Professional Standards Directorate, as it is completely inappropriate and inflammatory when read in the context of the observable behaviour of your officer.

If
@UKLabour
@LibDems
@TheGreenParty
announced a stand-aside electoral pact to basically give them a good chance at 300, 110, and 60 seats respectively... and promised proportional representation and rejoining the EU... what would that do to market confidence?
@TheNewEuropean
Can I ask what contributions Boris Johnson actually made to the vaccine roll-out beyond taking all the credit?
Did those decisions save more lives than were lost as a result of dithering over lockdown decisions?

We could answer your question, but if you could just travel to our consular offices in Lviv in order to pick up information request form LV8 before posting it directly into the letterbox at our embassy in Paris. It is important the right procedure is followed.
Thanks for helping me outpoll both the Lib Dems and Alba, and congratulations on getting the Tories out of Pollokshields ward for the first time. 👏
I asked you to "USE YOUR POWER" and you delivered!!
Stay tuned for our plans to get the Tories out at Westminster too.
Battle of the tactical voting sites!!
@MVTFWD
versus
@BestForBritain
Who Won?!
Let's see where they disagreed!!
In Epsom and Ewell, went with the Lib Dems, went with Labour.
Lib Dems WON with 38% of the vote.
Labour got 15%...
Excited to announce I'll be the
@UkVolt
candidate for Rutherglen and Hamilton West. This is the party's first Westminster candidacy, and we're running to make a difference. We're asking Labour voters to send a message to

Many will be reminded of the last funeral they had to watch on a screen. A service for someone they loved but they felt they couldn't presume to be in their top 30 mourners. What a brutal time we have been through.
@robfordmancs
We already have compulsory community service for people who have committed crimes. Is there a presumption that all teenagers have committed crimes that we haven't caught them for?
Community volunteering is fantastically rewarding, but compulsory volunteering is slavery, right?
I'm off to vote for
@ScottishLabour
for the first time. First vote
@AnasSarwar
. Second vote hopefully ensuring
@PaulJSweeney
gets in. Mostly for his support of
@PeteKrykant_OPC
over the past few months. ✊ Lib dem candidate is not good enough or in contention for the list.
@lmharpin
They'll start a new party, then, and they'll offer an agenda that will peel off 10-15 points of Labour's vote share, and dozens of their safest seats.
We need proportional representation, or our democracy will descend into complete chaos.
For me a
#ProgressiveAlliance
is about leaving nothing to chance. We have the Nationality and Borders Bill, the UK Policing Bill and the Elections Bill taking this country in a deeply troubling direction and the Conservatives HAVE to be defeated before we travel too far.
Right.
Democrats assemble!
Let's work together to beat the Tories, but also to limit the Labour party to around 300 MPs, so we have a chance to
@getprdone
If we add in the less-than-transparent endorsement of Labour in places where they were under threat from independents, and the unnecessary advice to hammer the SNP in Scotland,

have had an absolute shocker of a campaign.
If they're going to do this again, they...
Many thanks to

Are you ready for a mega-thread on how a

stand-aside pact could hammer the Tories,

The tories got 15% in 2019. They can't win this seat, so ignore Sadiq Khan's dodgy politicking.
Vote Green here for a greater chance of a hung parliament, and action on PR.
@getprdone
@Keir_Starmer
Very pleased to say that
@sprintforpr

for Keir Starmer's constituency of Holborn and St. Pancras.
Forcing a hung parliament or actually stopping Starmer being an MP appear to be our best options for electoral reform in this parliament
@BestForBritain
What is the truth?
"I've been working hard and spending some quality time with my newborn daughter?"
"I've been in a drunken stupor in my underpants. More wine!!"
"I've been in this country... being soundly flogged at my puppetmaster's lair in an extinct volcano."
Now is the time for Labour to split.
A Labour split would bring electoral reform as sure as electoral reform would bring a Labour split.
Without honesty on Brexit and the benefits of immigration, Starmer doesn't deserve the majority he has.

A wee letter in reply:
We deserve so much better than the binary choices that Sonia Sodha and We Deserve Better are promoting in this election.
There is a much better option available in tactical voting for a more proportional parliament.
Voters can vote Labour where it is
will need to improve both their accuracy and their transparency if they are going to gain the trust of Britain's progressive voters.
It'll be interesting to see how both groups move forward with their promise to campaign on proportional representation so we don't have to vote...
@KennyFarq
I had an American living in Sheffield accuse me of pushing British nationalism the other day because I was a Scot who recognised the SNP as a problem in getting the Tories out of power. It seems all you need to be a British nationalist now is to not be a Scottish nationalist. 🤷♂️
@carolvorders
We should have a chat about
@UkVolt

Labour don't deserve a majority without decent policy on PR and Europe.

It's just typical Starmer's Labour party to withdraw their support from him despite the obvious split in the right wing vote.
We have about a year to change
@Keir_Starmer

and

@DavidLammy
"for the sake of democracy..."
Yet you won't reform the electoral system which grants absolute power to populists supported by a minority of voters.
We are not immune to fascist government in the UK, though we could have an electoral system which makes it much less likely.
1/3 This is the result from a progressive stand-aside pact poll carried out when Labour had about a 5 point lead ()

we want to

Sorry you have to put up with this. I was the
@scotlibdems
candidate for Glasgow Central in 2019. I'll be voting for you in May and would suggest other Glasgow Lib Dems do the same. We'll only beat the SNP if we sort a progressive alliance for Westminster and bring in PR though.

Why do you keep hammering on the growth point when you refuse to consider re-entering the single market and customs union? By leaving these, we have suppressed the economy by 5%. If growth is your priority, surely reversing this mistake should be your top priority?
I'm delighted to announce I'll be standing in next year's council elections.
I'm delighted with my decision to join Volt, to stand for Volt and the fantastic welcome they have shown me.
Maybe you could join too? 🙂
We need proportional representation at Westminster so that Scotland never has to suffer under Conservative majority rule ever again.
Please don't support a Labour party that won't shut the Conservatives out due to their own aspirations for occasional majority power

Progressives are rubbish at vote splitting and stand asides, where ukip and brexit party have done very well out of both.
Lib dems and greens should stand aside in the 50 seats to get Labour to 300, but then split their vote deliberately beyond Labour’s likely 300th seat. We've

I get filmed moderately frequently doing my job. Police should be used to this by now and should be able to remain calm and professional. Sounds like this was not the case in this instance.
and should have explained that a Lib Dem gain would always be better than a Labour gain, both for promoting electoral reform, and for their other goal of pushing the Tories into 3rd.
Both sites strangely failed to take decisions consistent with their stated goals.
Supertanskiii slagged off people promoting a hung parliament on here. I replied explaining our approach. She blocked me and has managed to hide a bunch of my tweets from even my ability to read them. Thats not playing fair.

If you want people to listen to you and for Greens to be successful, advocate for a massive Green vote in Labour's 100 safest seats (listed here)
People want to feel safe in voting Green. Help them to do so. "Vote Green everywhere" doesn't cut it
in Caerfyrddin, went with Plaid Cymru; went with Labour.
Plaid won with 34%, with Labour on 24% and the Tories on 19%.

They're not doing better in the polls because their supporters are smart, and know their vote is wasted in almost all constituencies in the country.

There is a viable strategy to bring about a hung parliament, which would be a far more effective way to deliver PR and rejoining the single market in the short term.
