As admitted students weekend continued, the “Gaza Solidarity Encampment” entered its fifth day on the South Lawn. Two signs hung on the north end of the lawn read “Admitted Students Enroll in Revolution.”

The “Gaza Solidarity Encampment” entered its third day on South Lawn on Friday following the Thursday mass arrests of 108 protesters. The protesters have pledged to remain on the lawn until Columbia complies with their demand.
The University is continuing dialogue with student representatives of the “Gaza Solidarity Encampment” for “the next 48 hours” following “important progress” in negotiations, a University spokesperson wrote in a 3:03 a.m. Wednesday statement to Spectator.
