A few good things that happened within the past year: Got engaged. Got let go from my job. Got a new job. Moved to a new apartment. Taught myself how to sew. Turned 30. Read 24 books. Eloped. (safely!) Got a peloton. Got a dog. Did 20 hikes. Grew a lot as an engineer.

Today’s my last day @MLS ! It’s been an incredible experience building a greenfield React Native app. For my 1st engineering job, I’ve learned more than I could imagine. It created so many opportunities for me and I’ve met the best people. I’m excited to see what’s happens next!

Lately, I've been working on learning the proper words for what I'm doing and working on. "I need to do that thing here" is now, "I need to do string interpolation." It really helps me understand it, sound smarter, and makes googling a whole of a lot easier.
