The hunger for margin is a metastatic infection that has spread throughout all of healthcare, precisely because healthcare is regarded as an industry, not a humanitarian mission, by so many in positions of power. @healthcareandy All those CKD patients in MA plans generate a lot of spending. People immediately think of dialysis spending, but the real magic is in preventing the transition from CKD stage 3 to CKD stage 4.
