Glasses: A 100 billion dollar a year business. Your eyes aren't broken, though retail optometry needs you believing in their "mysterious genetic illness". 💰💰

Your "genetic" bad eyesight is an incredibly profitable business. Long term growth, recurring revenue, captive audience, regulated distribution.

YES you CAN improve your eyesight. 😊🏆
Why says you can't? Retail optometry.
They're a global, 100 billion dollar (!) industry built on selling you glasses.

Jake Steiner (actual expert on myopia) reacting to the eyesight health episode with Jeffrey Goldberg:
20 years ago, Jake Steiner began a journey to reverse his -5.00 diopter myopia and regain his natural 20/20 vision. Over years, he cataloged the many tools, resources, and experiences that led to his recovery. Now he’s on a mission to end myopia forever.
From -2.00 Diopters - To Not Needing Glasses. I'm not specifically advocating for the pressure point part of that experience, but still ... great 20/20 gains being made.

Gina quite magically reduces her "mysterious genetic shortsightedness" by 40%. 🤔 HEY RETAIL OPTOMETRY. How about just ignore all this, mmmkay? Keep selling us $2 lenses for $200 ... and keep telling us how our eyes are unfixable. 😤

That's how opthalmology docs know NOTHING about your eyes and myopia. They just sell you glasses and go 🤷🏼♂️. Reacting to Huberman Lab "eye health" video:

/r optometry is super busy bullying, censoring, and deleting ANY content related to endmyopia or indeed any sort of actual science on natural myopia control. Clear signs of a dying profession denying they're on life support.
@asdrawingaf
"Poor vision", ie. myopia isn't (primarily) a nutrient problem. You can't just stuff your face to lazily fix your vision. Everybody is always hoping for some pill to pop and put in no effort. Your vision is actually bad because you're addicted to screens. Tough truth.
Science is not "peer reviewed papers". That's academia. New science is never peer reviewed. Peer review requires consensus. Big breakthrough in science almost never come from the center of a profession. They come from the fringe.
3 Year Olds Stare At Screens For 4 Hours.
IT'S FINE, SHUT UP! (oh and also, those kids will be "prescribed" glasses pretty soon - but that's probably just genetic)

Your glasses are subscriptions.
That retail shop in the mall sells subscription glasses.
That "diagnosis" is a sale.
That $300 "prescription" is $5 of clear curved plastic.
You're a customer. Not a 'patient'.
You're not sick. Your eyes are healthy.
Health doesn't make money.
AT HOME EYE EXAMS, YOU SAY?! 🤩😘 Hear that? Yes, these are the subtle approaching sounds of retail optometry's impending demise. And we're not even sad.

by retail lens sellers. You're told you have a genetic defect, then sold lenses at 5000% markup. All lies, darlings.
Optometry science shows myopia isn't genetic. Glasses cost $5 wholesale. You're getting screwed.

Do NOT trust retail optometry. The whole industry is quick fix symptom treatments, and PROFIT. They ruin countless people's lives.
Your eyes are not broken! You don't need glasses or surgery. ❤️
Are you shortsighted? Myopic? Did they tell you "uhhh it's genetic, just buy glasses?"
They're selling you total nonsense. This is how axial change of the human eyeball actually works:
Retail optometry: 🙈🙉🙊
Coming Soon: Roger got rid of his -3.75 diopter glasses.
How? With magic. Because realistically it's not possible to improve your eyesight. Things only ever get worse with your body, and the only possible fix (as retail medicine tells us) is permanent symptom treatment.
➡ Nearsightedness is NOT genetic.⬅️
The retail lens industry is lying to you. Optometrists, ophthalmologists, all of them. Anyone who says "it's genetic"? Lying. 100% 👀

One of these is right.
Endmyopia Is Now A Registered Trademark.
Finally, fiiiiiinally the end is nigh for fake Facebook groups pretending to be us, dudes selling Bates Method "courses", and all the usual online Internet marketer schemes. 🤬😂👍🏻
Don't want your eyesight to get worse? Easy fix, computer glasses.
Never ever wear glasses made for distance vision, while you look up-close, at screens.
Go 1.5 diopters lower, for "computer glasses". Far less eye strain.
Can you improve your eyesight? Suresh went from -10 diopters to -4.75 (and still improving). Biology supports this. And science. Just for-profit retail lens-sellers do not. 🤔

Categorically, absolutely, positively, NO.
Shortsightedness is mysteriously genetic, 5,000% profit selling glasses is the ONLY and most ethical choice.

Why do your eyes get"worse" every time you go to the optometrist?
Look around. You're in a shop that sells glasses. How can they sell you new glasses? They need that 'prescription' to go up! Sales, not "bad genetics".

Is myopia reversible?
Nope. No. It's genetic, sorry. Why are those glasses $300 for you when I paid $2 for them wholesale? Well .. it's because shut up you're a patient.
Trust the people selling you stuff telling you it's unavoidable. They have zero incentive to lie.
How do I stop people from posting eyesight improvements?
Endless thousands of them. In our 30k member FB group. Youtube comments, our 50k subs channel. In our Shortsighted Podcast..
These people do not respect retail optometry.
They must be stopped.

@hubermanlab
Imagine THAT bit of delicious controversy. 😂
Shortsightedness, not genetic? Clinical studies on glasses causing more myopia? Thousands of documented cases of myopia reversal? Retail optometry Twitter would lose its collective little mind.
This is why we need more fact checkers, more 'misinformation' labels, less straying from the narrative. Myopia is GENETIC. Nothing can be done about it. Besides buying glasses at 5,000% markup. Grow up people, respect authoratah.
