@BradJamin3 She feels comfortable openly saying that because people lack courage and prefer to avoid conflict. Verbally telling a stranger how you wish someone was dead isn’t normal, sane, or ethical. Instead, ‘That’s an evil thing to say. I don’t talk with people who wish death on others’

@KonstantinKisin Tony Abbott attempted to help parents spend more time with their kids through a paid parental leave scheme. Then the opposition government decided they wanted more mothers in the workforce (more tax money), scrapped his plan, & promoted mass childcare. He is a decent, family man.

@FreedmFightr1 Australia doesn’t have mass migration because it’s bordered by oceans. When people’s culture and way of life changes for the worse is when people take action. Australians are also overtly passive in nature and take less interest in politics, they prefer sports.

@ausstockchick Australia is very pro getting mothers back into the work force as opposed to staying home with young kids as well. The normalisation of two income households and semi-subsided day care are successful in generating more government tax money. They’ll do anything for the tax money.

@senatorbabet My guess would be around 60%. *If* tax money was allocated to the basics - health, infrastructure, military, and elder care, then 20-30% would be sufficient. Removal of unnecessary regulations, permits, and spending needs to happen for that to have a chance.

@SharikaSoal84 It’s awful being called derogatory names such as ‘racist’ just from being white. It’s like, you don’t know who I’ve loved or what I feel in my heart. It goes both ways, equally terrible. If someone chooses to hate others for their colour it will come back to bite them one day.

@karenmitchell__ I don’t know why anyone would think their profession would be immune to dark triad behaviour, they’re still human. They also have an advantage of how the mind works, and a flow of vulnerable patients to learn from. I’d imagine the “bad” behaviour would be more so at home anyways.

@hubermanlab I avoid plastics as much as possible and have heavily reduced exposure, but it’s only a dent. I never realised how much plastic there was until making the shift. Fabrics, flooring, building materials, containers, water, appliances, hygiene products, etc. It’s everywhere.

@yoalexrapz I know exactly what you mean. She has a delicate bone structure, and the thick/stiff material on the dress doesn’t flatter her. I don’t see any elasticity in the dress, so the material doesn’t sit properly anywhere on the top. It bunches up. She needed a different material.

@NaturallyFTW To the people who dismiss HPV or the impact it has HPV 16 & 18 cause abnormal cells that can lead to cancer. Women need cervical exams every year to see if cells have either worsened or temporary gone away. They can always return & become cancerous. It’s terrifying for women.

Also, Australia’s migrants are due to visas being accepted. US/EU migrants are illegal and unvetted with no medical checks or qualifications.

Having empathy for your opposition in their hardships is what moral decency and maturity look like. You don’t have to agree, or even believe their side, but you should understand that grief exists on all sides.

@MichaelJStern1 He lost his father and uncle to assasination, came from an emotionally unstable family, battled drug addiction, and made choices to turn his life around. While we can agree that his prior actions were not good, it’s distasteful to associate someone with their past behaviours.

@DylanOgline Minimum wage would be a fast food/cashier/entry level worker. Not a liveable adult wage but a start into the workforce. The more skills required, the more pay provided. All relevant to the business & job. Genuine Q, what jobs are paying at minimum wage besides entry level ones?

Women’s safety will always come before making biological men comfortable. It’s not rude, it’s a primitive instict to relocate when fearful.
