My absolute love of Carmen started with Julia Migenes, who starred as Carmen in the 1984 film with @PlacidoDomingo . I was completely and utterly fascinated by her performance—she is the most amazing Carmen I have ever seen. Watching her, I completely fell in love with the opera!
