Car insurance renewal time 🫣 Despite zero claims and the value of the cars dropping a little, my premium has come in at 17% more than last year. Broker reckons average is a 48% increase!!! Why!!??? Why has insurance gone up 48%!!!??????

How cool is this! Google searched my old nr plate for my Mk1 Golf GTi that was written off when stolen in 1992, and it turns out a bloke 20 miles away is building a track car from it!

Today was my last day of employment in the company I established in October 2002. Resigned at Xmas, on gardening leave since Feb-only time off of my career, and it’s been during lockdown ☹️ Next chapter starts on Monday…. Feeling pensive. Cheers!

Major service done @Precision911 , along with a clean MOT. New plugs seems to give it more zip, new gearbox oil has given the stick a lot more feel too. Awesome service incl underside waxoil and hubs painted, very happy! 😁 @Porsche911UK

Lots of hate for teachers on here today. Would like to say that my wife, who teaches 11-18yr olds in a local comp wants to return to school and wants to teach in a classroom. She’s refused to sign the union letter she’s been sent. Not all teachers are shirking 🤷🏻‍♂️

Took this out today for a bit of a hoon. It’s very good, manual box transforms the car, feels much more responsive and alive versus the PDK. 450bhp feels more than enough (for now 😬) on damp roads. Cracking car!
