It took me 18 months to make my first 10k month online
6 months later, I made my first 250k
Consistency compounds
Success is a lagging indicator
Failure lead me to my success
If I was financially successful at first, I wouldn’t have come up with this business idea
Ten thousand orders!
I’ve been building towards this milestone for a while now
Ever since I realised Shopify give out 10k milestone plaques
So now the question is… when will Shopify reach out to me?
Every day I wake up and imagine having the plaque in my hands 😂
Anyways…
In 9 months I went from packing orders in my bedroom…
To now building a legitimate business that will do 7 figures this year
If I can do it, why can’t you?
It’s been 7 month since I launched this brand 🍄
A year ago, I used to dream about being in this position. But now, the goalposts have moved
Every day we are pushing new heights, yet I’m still unsatisfied with results
Sure, every couple days I get to look at the dashboard
Spent the past 2 years behind a desk in order to have a crazy couple days this week
Met so many cool guys
Acquired an insane amount of knowledge
Now back to the trenches, synthesise the knowledge and continue building 🫡
All you need is ONE winning ad to completely change your life forever!
I spent 3 hours on my phone back in December making this ad.
It took me from doing £300 days to £1000 days in the week that it was launched.
These are the AI tools I made the ad with 👇👇
Elevenlabs - AI
Crazy to hear dropshippers have all these payment processing issues.
I use default shopify payment processor and paypal
Literally have had 2 chargebacks and automatically won both of them 😂
Tried out a new email pop up app and it increased my sign up rate over 100%
Sick app. Great team and support!
If you have an ecom store I highly recommend switching from klaviyo to
@AliaLearn
!!
Every time I turn DOWN ad spend 20-30%
Results skyrocket
We do this every time we are selling a bit too much whilst our stock lands in the 3pl
And every single time roas just rips
I remember one time, we had a huge delay in inventory so we turned spend down by 50%
That
Another record breaking month. Been growing steadily around £10k per month since march
Waiting for inventory to land then we are taking this to multiple 6 figure months this q4
And that’s the difference between dropshipping and building a real brand
Inventory is our biggest
As an Ecom brand owner...
You are losing out on THOUSANDS of $$$ by not doing email marketing!
I set up flows back in march,
They made me an extra £10,000 this month
And this is how I did it 👇👇
It is literally FREE MONEY!!!
You can make 10-20% extra revenue every month
6 months later after selling out of stock twice (and having to cut ad spend many times)… we finally hit a £100k month 🎯
Took wayyy longer than I wanted. But not too bad considering I launched this brand 9 months ago
But when your building a real brand, you can only scale
Going from 0-1 is by far the hardest part of the game
Building a brand that truly resonates with people is key
It’s about building something that feels authentic to the consumer
It’s the entire backbone of the brand, yet people half-ass and rush it
And I get it, it’s
New heights 🚀🍄
£100k month loading. Won’t happen this month or even the next, because of inventory issues.
But it’s imminent ⏳
It’s now the 7th month since launching this brand, so I’m taking time to reflect and grasp what I have achieved
It feels great to no longer be
Life recently
Europe in the summer is elite
Back in London now though
Btw 99% of my days do not look like these pictures. Spent the last 7 months in my room on my computer
Ecom is infinitely easier if you are able to sell to the same customer every month, even multiple times a month.
Your efforts will compound so much more then selling some shit AliExpress product
I made £89,967 this past 30 days in Ecom
35% of that was from returning customers
This is the power of:
- A great product that customers love
- Consumable product that is taken daily
- Authentic brand that resonates with customers
- A decent offer
- Unsaturated market
-
This is why brand building > dropshipping
Just finished up our best day so far🚀
We have done similar revenue numbers, but margins today are splendid
This has been our most profitable day 🔥
All whilst being in the South of France
33% of the revenue came from recurring
Anyone know of any apps or methods to make sure customers put the correct shipping address?
Kinda shocked how many people just put a completely different address and then act like it’s our fault 😂
Ngl... Building an ecom brand is so much easier when you have a co-founder
Two people with an aligned vision is an elite combo
My business partner is my brother
We are complementary opposites
Our brains just work in the opposite ways
Everything I am bad at, he is good at
Struggling to find things to tweet about currently
I think it’s because I’ve transitioned into a different level of business, where everything is unknown again
And that’s a good thing. Because it means I’m learning rapidly
Rly hard to share the stuff I’m learning for 2
Starting ecom in 2024 and selling a product a customer can only buy once is just a waste of time IMO
If you can sell to the same customer every month, the game is soo much easier
We just hit 2000 followers!
Thank you to everyone who has joined me on my journey 🤝
Since I started being active on X back in December, I have come so far, made some great connections and learnt so much
Crazy to see such a positive impact on my life just by posting my
Imagine doing ecom in 2024…
And you have no MRR
I make over £20k on autopilot every month
It’s literally a MONEY PRINTER
You are missing out on free money!
New ad iterations looking fucking solid
Literally added one word to the hook of my winning ads
Made the hook even more specifc, by understanding my customer and their painpoints
I feel so stuipid for not thinking of these tests sooner🤦♂️
Longer term goal of mine is that I want to hit £100k month this next Q4
Fair enough it's a bit far away but it is entirely possible
Before then I reckon we can hit a 50k month relatively soon if we get a solid amount of inventory in
@jordanhill11
Similar thing happened to me.
When I try to ad budget on Facebook it asked for 2FA
But then they let some scammer spend £2500 at sexyfish with no questions
My biggest piece of advice to anyone starting ecom is...
Keep it simple
I hit my first $50k month after a few months just by keeping it simple
One product
One market
One sales channel
One landing page
One winning AI ad
Don't spread yourself too thin
I was able to focus on
This Tiktok generated 3M+ organic views for this brand
It was created using these three tools:
Voice over - 11labs
Visuals - Midjourney
Editing - Capcut
AI is changing the game..
This has been the lowest day all month
I’m so grateful to be able to call this the worst day of the month
Now I am reflecting on how far I have come in the past 8 months since I launched this brand
I remember the feeling not too many months ago, when I hit my first 2k day
@crowizard_stef
My launch strategy was testing 10 statics
Each static covered different levels of market awareness/sophistication and DCTs testing different desires
I found my first winning ad on day 3 (After I rebuilt the website lol)
@top_george0
@GadzhiIman
Here is the only course on media buying you need
1 CBO campaign
Broad targeting
Men/Women 18+
3 variations of each creative
2 headline copies
2 body copies
That is it.
No mediabuying technique will make a losing ad a winning ad
Instead of watching that course, understand
If you are starting from NOTHING in ECOM
Learn these 5 skills and you will make it
- FB Ads
- Copywriting
- Website Building
- Email Marketing
- Graphic Design
You can learn all of these skills for free online and have a successful brand.
What else am I missing?
I have a buy 2 get 1 free offer for post purchase
The way I set it up was by making a bundle as a new product
How can I make it only accessible to be bought via the offer and not from finding the product on the website?
Ecom takes a lot of dedication and consistency
The money I make today comes from the work I did in the past few months
The money I will make in the future is from the work I am doing today
Every day I am building towards q4
If you are only focused on making money today…
When you are going fast, the smallest movements can make the biggest changes
I increased my packaging width by 1cm and because of that I will make an extra £4k net profit this month and even more after we scale
It’s 11am. Results are looking solid
I could come on here and flex my 10.5 ROAS
But the truth is…
45% of this revenue came from recurring subscriptions
I made £1k before I woke up
And that is the power of selling a really good consumable product!
You get lots repeat
Ecom is not all sunshine and rainbows
Most people aren’t cut out for this
Your favourite guru will convince you it’s easy. But that’s far from the truth.
As a founder, you need to learn a million skills
And each one of those skills is an entire profession itself
You have
I always hear people saying their Paypal gets banned...
Probably because you aren't uploading tracking information, so in their eyes you only collect payments and never fulfil orders
Use an app called Trackipal and it will autosync the tracking and save you headaches
Not every test is a winner
But by no means am I upset
Just because it didn't win doesn't mean I didn't learn
As long as I understand why it didn't work, it is a winning test
Exactly 6 months ago I launched this brand
It’s been a bit slower because it’s not dropshipping and we are bottlenecked by inventory
By the end of this year, this will be 1M minimum
I’ll reply to this when I hit it 🎯
The easiest way to build a cool and authentic brand is to be a cool and authentic person and build the brand for yourself.
People will resonate with it way more. And as a result convert.
@DenisKingO
I didn’t wanna say anything because I thought I was tripping…
But I swear this guy was also scamming in the smma space a year or two back and he was exposed
Thought I remembered his face and name
