I'd argue that being in the SEC for a decade with the windfall they got from it allowed A&M to professionalize/gear up their athletic department in a way they never had before. Sure, they don't want Texas in. But this is a different conference setup than Texas is used to.

My wife had eye surgery for a retinal detachment recently so we’re having a quiet Thanksgiving. But Rosie, the 8-year-old, talked us into having a pirate-themed day so we could all wear matching eye patches. Thankful for having such thoughtful kids. Wishing all y’all a great day.
