I chose to self publish my book because I wanted total control over the printing process. It’s made from 100% recycled paper, uses bio based algae inks, and is shipped in upcycled newspaper mailers! No plastic allowed! Get it at or link in header
Let’s hear it for
@ameliaboone
!! She ran up and down muddy, snowy mountains for 27 hours and then finished off the 100 mile race with a SEVEN MINUTE MILE! I’m so proud of her
Attention drivers in Colorado! I’d like to remind everyone that we have a new law called THE SAFETY STOP which makes it legal for bicyclists to treat stop signs like yield signs, and stop lights as stop signs. Please stop honking at me when you see me roll by you 😂
It’s time for the Leadville 100 once again! Last year, I didn’t know Amelia at all (but she offered to pace, and I wasn’t about to turn down that offer). Little did we know that we’d both fall madly in love (months after the race). So grateful to be here again!
@ameliaboone
My main goal at this year’s Leadville 100 was to have a strong finish (last year was a sufferfest). I managed to run the final 25 miles 1hr 40min faster than last year, and boy did it feel good! 22hrs49min finish time. Instead of a big buckle I’d like a big burrito, please!
I get flack from some viewers on my YouTube channel whenever I get somewhat “political.” I get comments like “stick to bikes” or “stay in your lane.” Well guess what? My lane is humanity and love. The bicycle has always been a tool to connect with people all over the world.
If any kids impacted by the Boulder fires need a bike, my friend Brad at Recycled Cycles in Fort Collins has some to donate. Their number is 970-223-1969
2005 was a monumental year in my life. I finished my two year stint in the Peace Corps and decided that the best way to get home (to Boulder, Colorado) would be by bicycle. I journaled and filmed the entire adventure, and FINALLY, after 17 years, I created this book. Coming soon!
It’s finally almost here! Got the 1st proof of my book today. This is the story of my experience in Honduras as a
@PeaceCorps
volunteer and then deciding to bike home to Boulder (in 2005) It’ll be out in December and you’ll be able to order it via
@RidePriority
Stay tuned!
7 years ago today I quit drinking alcohol and it’s BY FAR the best decision I’ve ever made. This photo is from the last time I was drunk. As you can see, I went out with a bang!
I’ve been on the Trans Mexico route for 4 days and it’s increíble! We’ve ridden from Mazatlan to Durango, taking an old highway through stunning mountains up to 9000k ft. This country makes me so feliz!
Our bikepacking adventure in Oaxaca has come to an end, but I’m leaving a piece of me behind, my beloved
@RidePriority
600x. This bike will now be in the hands of Coyote Adventures, specifically their program to bring cycling to young people in the area.
This JUST happened! Mom and I came to Iceland hoping to see the northern lights, but fully aware that the chances are low. It had been snowing all evening and our guide didn’t have high hopes…and then the sky lit up with green fairy dust. WOW!!
A dream come true! My book is getting printed this week by a family owned printer in my beloved Boulder. It’s 100% recycled paper + algae based non toxic inks. I’m so proud to be supporting a local biz in the most environmentally friendly way possible.
If someone tells you that they have a stuffy nose because of allergies and that they tested negative for covid, DO NOT GO INTO THEIR HOUSE! I learned the hard way, and now have covid. I’m not very sick, but this shit is shutting down my life for 10-14 days. No bueno
150k subscribers! I honestly never thought that I’d get here. I left the ever frustrating world of TV in 2015 with the lofty dream of creating a career as a YouTuber. The goal has always been simple: to inspire people to challenge themselves. It’s a constant grind, but I love it
Oh my god look how cute we are! 😂 Back in December, we got to know each other as we rode up to this tiny mountain town above Boulder. Bike dates are the best! I’m excited for many more Gold Hill jaunts with

The cruiser ride has been a big part of my life for over 20 years. It’s goofy, joyous, weird, and inclusive. We ride slow, ring bells, and spread joy to everyone we meet. This year has been extra special because I’ve gotten to introduce
@ameliaboone
to the magic.
And on my final day in Rwanda, I finally get my bike out of customs 😂 I’m Bummed that I didn’t get to ride it through this beautiful country, but I’m psyched to gift it to my guide. This is his 1st mountain bike! Thank you
@RidePriority
for your big, generous hearts
After reading ‘Born to Run’ back in 2014 about the mystical canyons and legendary Raramuri runners, I decided to travel to Mexico and experience it first hand. I fell in love quickly and tomorrow I’m headed back for the 5th time. Thank you
@ChrisMcDougall
for the inspiration
My first
@bolderboulder
was in 1985, I was 6 years old and had never run 6 miles in my life. I finished in the stadium alongside the Marines. Their rhythmic chants motivated me. That day sparked a love of running, and for this race. This year will be my 35th Bolder Boulder.
Last summer, my dream adventure in Sweden was thwarted when SAS went on strike 24hrs before my flight. Let’s try again! I land in Kiruna on Midsommar, June 21st, and I’ll ride 1,000+ miles “home” to where I lived as an exchange student in 1998. Heja Sverige!
Lunch at a Swedish shelter. There’s thousands of these simple structures all over the country. They usually have a fire pit stocked with wood, an outhouse, and a roof!
I have less than a week until the Leadville 100. I practically crawled to the finish line of last year’s race. Those final 25 miles hurt bad. In an effort to avoid that this time, I plan on riding on
@ameliaboone
’s shoulders 😂
I love Oaxaca! Biking up and down mountains, into cloud forests, and meeting friendly people (and eating tons of beans) is a great way to start the year!
@RidePriority
The Boulderthon is such a great addition to the Boulder running scene! Over 4,000 runners competed (5k, 10k, 1/2 and full marathon) It starts at the res, winds around bike paths, and finishes on Pearl St with a dance party.
This is a HUGE day! 5 years ago, I decided to put all my creative passion into building a YouTube channel. The goal has always been to inspire people to get off their couches and challenge themselves, and for me to make a living creating videos. Today I just hit 100k subs!
I haven’t ridden mainland Mexico since my ride home from Honduras in 2005. But that all changes tomorrow when I start pedaling the Trans Mexico route with John and Mira. We’ll start in Mazatlán and head east. (I only have 2 weeks, hoping to get to Guanajuato. FRIJOLES!
Burnout is real. I’ve been dealing with physical and mental exhaustion for the past few months. This is new for me, and it’s uncomfortable and scary. I’ve been processing a lot lately and decided to make a video about it
I've finalized my route for the big SWEDISH ADVENTURE! I'll pedal south from Kiruna (on the longest day of the year) and crooz 1500miles (2400km) to the village where I lived in as an exchange student in 1998. Full details on my

I’m wishing all my friends in the USA a great 4th of July!! I’m thinking of all the fun 4ths of years past as I pedal beside lake Vättern Sweden. 🇺🇸 🇸🇪
Got a comment today on a video saying that I’m the Ted Lasso of bikepacking. BEST COMPLIMENT EVER! If you haven’t seen the show, Ted is all about making kindness cool…in a very dorky way. My kinda guy
My first viral-ish video! I uploaded this Great Divide video in early 2021 and it’s at 2 million views. Why did this one go bonkers and not the hundreds of other videos on my channel? I have no idea, the inner workings of YouTube are a mystery to me
I did it! The Colorado Trail pushed me to my absolute limits, damn that was hard! So grateful for this life enhancing experience in my beautiful state. The 600x performed flawlessly on these relentless trails

My bike is all dressed up and ready for a date with the Colorado Trail! Leaving tomorrow to ride from Denver to Durango. I’m excited to pedal, but even more excited to see all the beautiful flowers.
