Modern day Seinfeld:
Jerry is trying to decide if he will let his girlfriend join his self quarantine.
Elaine thinks she has the coronavirus and is blaming George due to his lack of social distancing and other hygiene faux pas.
Kramer has a great hook up for hand sanitizer.
A wise man once said, “a great indicator of your football program’s national branding is when college football fans and sports personalities outside your team’s market bubble give you perspective.”
To all the Utah fans that are contemplating going to the championship game in Vegas, just go. Last year’s conference championship game was one of the best atmospheres that I’ve been to. The vibes walking from the casinos to the stadium were unmatched. Let’s make it a home game!
I’m a little bit sad about the Utah / USC games coming to an end. In PAC-12 play USC led the series 7 games to 5. But there were multiple games that had to be won in the final minute and it created many instant classics. A shame that it isn’t going to continue.
I don’t know about you guys, but if my team lost 9 in a row and hadn’t beaten another program in over a decade, I would definitely not be talking shit.
It’s going to be really easy for me to cheer for Zach Wilson in the NFL. He grew up a Ute fan and helped Utah beat BYU twice. So I wish him all the best.
Utah is ranked 5th in the CFP poll heading into champ. weekend.
Utah fans: “wow, we might have a shot at making the playoff.”
BYU fans: “lol, Utah fans thought they might make the playoff.”
9 months later...BYU destroys a service academy game 1.
BYU fans: “CFP here we come!”
I’m really excited to watch the sequel to The Big Short in a few years.
Just call it The Big Short Squeeze. Starring Bradley Cooper as Gabriel Plotkin (founder of Melvin Capital), Timothée Chalomet as Thicc Dad Club, and Finn Wolfhard as Stonks69.
Still crazy to me Zach faced a UCF team that had a school record 5 players taken in the NFL draft, 3 of those defensive backs, and he straight up gave them the business!! 😤🔥
437 yards
5 TD’s (3 passing, 2 rushing)
76.4% completion rate
Those saying Huntley player poorly. Did we watch the same game? I was at the stadium so may have missed some replays with guys running open. But Huntley tried to carry this team on his damn back. He made plays with his feet. 73% completion percentage. What do you all want?
@superbass72
LOL. About thirty minutes after tweeting this I knew I made a mistake. I agree with you and honestly don’t care what other people wear or do. I was just trying to make an observational joke.
What a difference a decade makes. Ten years ago BYU had just finished their 4th straight season ranked in the top 25. They had won 3 of 4 against Utah and were about to sign their best recruiting class ever.
Then in June ‘10 Utah was invited to the PAC 12 and the rest is history
Before tomorrow's CFP ranking comes out, here is the list of the teams that have been ranked the most:
Alabama - 31
Clemson - 31
Ohio State - 31
Oklahoma - 28
LSU - 27
Utah - 24
Mississippi State - 22
Notre Dame - 21
Auburn - 20
Michigan State - 20
Wisconsin - 20
@Utah_Football
should also recognize Ty Jordan for senior day this Saturday. He would be graduating this year and I have no doubt he would have broken almost all of our school rushing records. He was destined for stardom.
#22Forever
Utah going up to Seattle and playing at UW is going to be a problem. I hate that the PAC12 leadership has forced Utah to play them on the road for three straight match ups. Criminal.
My player of the game has to be Covey. Those fair catches are what allowed Hurts and Co to go to work on offense. Really can’t be overstated the impact he makes on the game.
I just made my first trek through the new infamous SLC airport. My only question to the complainers; have you guys ever actually been to a large international airport before?
Phillips is CB1 next year for a lot of draft analysts. Kincaid is regarded as a top 5 TE. I don’t think Nacua is even regarded as a top 20 WR right now by most draft boards.
@TheJAFFOsAP
@NFLonFOX
@Ravens
Last year Deshaun Watson led the league with 8.9 yards per attempt. Only four QBs had higher than 8 yards per attempt in the entire league. So Huntley’s 9.1 is really good.
Remember that time Dick Harmon created a burner account claiming to be a BYU fan from Texas and that nobody knew the difference between Utah and Utah State and once he was caught he immediately deleted his account?
The fact that Washington avoids both USC and Utah could be pretty big considering that the PAC-12 championship game is no longer between the division winners.
I know I say this kind of stuff a lot. Ty Jordan was honestly the best freshman I have ever seen come through the program. He had the chance to break every record if he wanted to. He was going to be an absolute super star. And now he is gone, far too soon. Prayers to his family.
@MossJamison
LOT of the peeps in these comments dont know or cant remember that Y won 19 out of 21 during our run
No doubt - this been Utah’s run
(PS - we also picked up some hardware along the way...ya’ll still waiting on that trip to the Rose bowl tho...😃)
There’s this really weird narrative out there that BYU has been great at developing QBs and had much better QB play than Utah has. It’s almost like those folks suffer from amnesia. Over the past decade only 3 of BYU’s QBs had a better passer rating for the respective season.
Lyons, Singer, Bridges, Pittman, Parks, McClain, Zipperer, Washington, and Williams is a very good WR room.
Adding Kuithe, King, Ryan, and Bentley as pass catchers in the TE room and our QBs have some good weapons for next season.
I see we are at the “BYU is definitely beating Utah this year” part of the offseason.
Seemed a couple of months early this year. I guess losing a 20 point lead in 16 minutes can cause that type of optimism.
Reminder: this was Utah’s SECOND loss to a non-conference play sine joining the PAC-12 eight seasons ago.
Step away from the ledge. Team was 8 points away from the Rose Bowl and returns a ton of talent next year.

Does Joel not know that Utah was 8-5 last year and didn’t even finish in the top 25? Does he not know that all 8-5 seasons are created equal? Someone should let him know.
Cole Bishop is so good. It’s amazing how Scalley just keeps finding this talent at safety. The thought of Bishop and Richie on the field next year has me feeling a type of way.
Again, for a franchise that has an owner that became a billionaire by starting a software that was all about capturing user experience for brand marketing, I have zero idea how they failed so drastically at the re-branding.
Also, all of the
@GatorsFB
fans that we talked to were super nice. Welcomed us to Gainsville. Talked nicely about Utah. Let’s return the favor next year.
Just a reminder that national championships are won on signing day. Also, screw anybody that says Utah lost to Ohio State’s B-team. They have almost as many 5 stars as Utah does 4 stars.
Nighttime game in the swamp. Oh mama.
You will never have a 3 game stretch that Utah will have experienced again. The PAC-12 championship game, Rose Bowl and now a nighttime game at UF.
Utah is now ranked 6th in the nation in ESPN’s FPI and Sagarin.
FPI says Utah by one next week. Sagarin says Oregon by one. This thing is as close to a coin flip as you can get. Win and we’re in the Pac-12 championship playing for Roses. Lose and we might fall to El Paso.
Utah’s 2019 defense was STACKED.

If Tafua makes a 53 man roster then every single starter would have made an NFL roster as some point
I realize this is bait. But just for fun:
Kevin Dyson- 2300 yards, 18 TDs
Tim Patrick - 2000 yards, 12 TDs
Steve Odom- 1 PB. 1600 yards, 11 TDs
Roy Jefferson - 1 AP, 3 PBs. 7,500 yards, 52 TDs.
And of course Steve Smith- 2 AP, 5 PB. 14,730 yards (8th all-time), 81 TDs
Wow! Looks like there are pretty big things on Elder Bednar’s agenda (you can barely make it out if you zoom in). Really glad the church gave us this inside look at his day to day.
Just a reminder that BYU had Jaren Hall, Puka Nacua, and Blake Freeland on their offense and only put up 14 points against Liberty and 24 points in a home lose to ECU.
Utah had a reported attendance of 10,944. If they could average that it would be 35th in attendance among all D1 programs. Even their current average of 6,709 still places them essentially middle of the pack.
I swear BYU fans are the only program that brags about attendance.
Five years later......
Wright is putting up big numbers in the greatest league in the world. And well, who knows what “the best player in the state” is up to.
The absolute worst is when the
@BYUfootball
team arrives to practice to see the field already set up with tables and floral arrangements. So they have to push everything to the side and then set it all up again when they've finished.
@lancereynoldsjr
@Ds54C
I've been beating this drum for 4 yrs! I was at practice when an assistant AD shewed the football team off the field for an intramural soccer game.
Litteraly chased them out & chewed out the staff for going over time.
I watched it in disbelief!
I was told it was part of the deal.
Since NFL draft spot is the absolute most important metric when considering which player was better, I am now glad that all Utah and BYU fans agree that Alex Smith was and is the greatest QB to ever come out of the great state of Utah.
Just a reminder that Iowa State has never won ten games in a season in their entire history, which started in 1892. They have never won an outright conference championship. Their last co-championship happened prior to World War I.
You guys, BYU is such a HUGE, national brand. It’s just crazy that for some weird reason they get less viewers than Utah, make less in apparel sales, make less in ticket revenue, have fewer IG and Twitter followers, etc.
But I promise, they are a WAY bigger brand. Just trust me.
Thanks for the 4 examples Dave. Here’s the difference:
Utah is being talked about because their in the spotlight.
The true test is when non-fans and media point out that BYU is a much bigger brand without that same spotlight. Big differences! Have a nice day!
