FL surgeon gen says unvaccinated kids can continue to go to school. This is *unprecedented* Unvaccinated kids need to stay home for 21 days during an outbreak. Why? A very real chance of infection, hospitalization, death or serious damage to the immune system. WHAT IS GOING ON

Oh and perhaps tell the parents that the kids can get a vaccine if exposed within the past 72 hours. Oh and tell them that if they get vaccinated, they can return back to school. Oh, and tell them if they are outside of this window, the kid should get a vaccine after isolation.

This rollercoaster that parents under 5 (including me) are forced to ride is an absolute, unacceptable disaster. Pfizer and the FDA need to get it together so the public knows what the f is going on (and why) so we can continue to be confident in this process.

There seems to be a lot of confusion. Epidemiologists were in this world before the pandemic. And we will be here after. We tracked viruses (+many other health outcomes) before the pandemic. And we are going to do this after. It’s not fear mongering. It’s literally our job…

…in a calm, collected, and reliable manner. Every leader should take note, as this strategy helps with every emergency (like, I don’t know…a pandemic). Never short change the impact of clear communication. It saves lives. 2/2

Reinfections and infections after vaccination are on the rise. Concurrently, reinfection misinformation is at an all time high. This leaves people with a lot of questions. Here is (hopefully) some clarity and answers for you.

Fantastic article. One thing needs clarifying though. Yes, there’s currently a ~50% mortality rate. But this is likely due to three things: 1. ascertainment bias: who gets tested and where. …

Not an article I wanted to write. The deadly H5N1 bird flu is spreading widely, including to mammals. For the first time, it's now likely spreading mammal-to-mammal, among minks which are exceptionally well-suited conduits to humans. We must act now.
