and Walker Buehler have begun discussions of a long-term contract extension.
Deal, if completed, figures to be similar to the terms Tyler Glasnow signed at earlier this month.
The 2011 Dodgers were painfully mediocre, but you still tuned in to watch the magic of Matt Kemp every night and the dominance of Clayton Kershaw every fifth day.
Also, bring these uniforms back.
According to my sources, by September 1st, the Dodgers will be acquiring
- Dustin May
- Gavin Lux
- Walker Buehler
- Ryan Pepiot
- Jimmy Nelson
- Chris Taylor
- Landon Knack
- Clayton Kershaw
-J.P. Feyereisen
They will be giving up ABSOLUTELY NOBODY.
Quite the haul.
Iโm so disappointed that this fanbase doesnโt respect Kershaw enough to not want him back wholeheartedly.
He deserves to be a part of this special team.
Some guys I could see the Dodgers acquiring at the deadlineโฆ
-Chris Taylor
-Edwin Rios
-Walker Buehler
-Dustin May
-Blake Treinen
-Victor Gonzalez
-Tommy Kahnle
-Andrew Heaney
-Danny Duffy
JOC PEDERSON
MAX MUNCY
CODY BELLINGER
JUSTIN TURNER
COREY SEAGER
ALEX VERDUGO
AJ POLLOCK
WILL SMITH
CHRIS TAYLOR
DAVID FREESE
THE 2019 DODGERS ARE BAD AND THEY WILL NOT STOP UNTIL THEYRE HOLDING THE WORLD SERIES TROPHY
Things to be excited about for the Dodgers in 2020:
-Healthy Corey Seager and Alex Verdugo
-Blake Treinen
-Full years from Tony Gonsolin, Gavin Lux, Will Smith, and Dustin May
-Possible debuts from DJ Peters, Keibert Ruiz, and Zach McKinstry
-The addition of Rob Hill

Stop faulting Trout for the Angels inability to develop and sign quality players to fill out a roster. Heโs done the absolute most, and still the Angels are horrible. Not his problem.
PLAYOFF PREDICTION TIME:
NLWC: Brewers over Nats
ALWC: Aโs over Rays
NLDS: Dodgers over Brewers in 3
Braves over Cardinals in 5
ALDS: Stros over Aโs in 4
Twins over Yankees in 5
NLCS: Dodgers in 5
ALCS: Stros in 6
WS: Dodgers in 7
Iโm so excited to watch Urias and Kershaw this October.
Both are fully healthy and pitching at their best.
Could be a quick NLDS if they each take care of business at home.
Itโs like wild to me that Dodger fans donโt like Lux more.
Heโs not getting paid, and heโs coming off a 3fWAR season that wouldโve been like 4.5 if his offense didnโt trail off due to injury.
His defensive numbers project better at short anyway.
But ya, go give 200 mil out
The Dodgers bullpen everyone:
Blake Treinen: NTโd by the Aโs
Corey Knebel: NTโd by the Brewers
Brusdar Graterol: passed up on by the Red Sox
Evan Phillips: Waived by the Rays
Phil Bickford: Giants first rounder, waived by the Brewers
David Price: Red Sox paying 16 mil
Maybe Iโm out of touch on this, but the whole Astros scandal feels like a weight off the Dodgersโ shoulders. The talk about 88 will start to subside and choking back-to-back WS will surely go away. Itโs a clean slate that can be welcomed with a championship to start a decade.
I will not be upset if the Dodgers go all in for Soto.
I will not be upset if the Dodgers donโt meet the ask for Soto.
I will not be upset if the Dodgers do nothing at the deadline.
I will be upset if the dodgers give up considerable prospects for a non-needle moving player
Unless youโve been to Dodger Stadium or LA, you canโt complain when the stadium isnโt full until the third inning. You can leave your house at 5 thatโs just 10 miles from the stadium and barely make it for the first pitch.
Pollock is getting paid 18 million dollars this year, and itโs fair to say, heโs earned every penny. Heโs been absolutely stellar as a Dodger since the end of the All Star break in 2019.
Padres shredded the arms of Clevinger, Morejon, and now Lamet.
Rushed back Tatis, and now heโs not performing, and surgery seems inevitable in the future.
Itโs insane how they just donโt get it.
They will always be the bridesmaid if they canโt fix this shit.

Bob Melvin will be the new manager of the San Diego Padres, source confirms to ESPN. Heโs signing a three-year deal and will leave Oakland, as
@AJCassavell
reported. Melvin is regarded as one of the best managers in baseball, and heโs heading to manage Fernando Tatis Jr and more.
