the games being just copies functionally with little creativity and if they don't do something other than the Wild/Tears games will soon become the same with unoriginal ideas, TOTK being a bad sequal should've have tipped everyone off of the problem that this franchise has had

So what they ate was hardy, kinda bland, but would survive the winter. Spices were expensive, had to be imported from elsewhere, and would not survive the winter.

Biggest issue with "death of the author" as a concept. Is nobody actually believes in it, because all criticism just devolves into speculating on what the author intended since more works are just a look into the thoughts of the author.
