High empathy for Ryan Poles. He’s effectively picking up the tab of Pace’s litany of missed evaluations. But I admire the pragmatism. This is a full tear down. 2022 is going to be a rough go, no doubt about it. I see a longer view of comp picks and recouping cap space.

The “games that don’t matter” comment is utterly tone deaf. NFL players get 17 chances to actually do their job in a year. Playoffs or not, tell them the games don’t matter. Sweat has been a multiplier for this team and defense. Undeniable.

Listening to Eberflus right now, my goodness. The HITS guy keeps talking about a lack of fundamentals. Says he’s not disappointed with the lack of productivity from Velus. I know there’s nothing he can say to make everyone satisfied. But enough already. This is a complete mess.
