I said I wasn’t comfortable with them going to a party and then coming back here. They agreed not to go. Bloke announced he’d ‘pop’ down to deliver present and would be back in 2 hours. It takes nowhere near 2 hours to ‘pop’ there and back.

It was a quiet funeral (he was 96), she came, unpaid in her own time. These people are worth thousands and thousands.

He reminds me of my grandfather who died aged 96 in 2007, and was always speedily seen. My now deceased mother, spent hours and hours on the floor waiting for and ambulance in 2019/20.

What’s made me sad today? Finally managed to get my mum on a FaceTime call after a couple of weeks. We had to end the call as she vomited. She’s a shadow of her former self and I have no idea when I’ll be allowed to visit, let alone hold her hand.
