In 2022, I staffed Tim Walz for interviews and debate prep and wrote for him. It’s the best job I’ve ever had, and a huge part of that is that Walz is a good man with a good heart without a hint of superiority or entitlement. I cannot overstate how surreal this is.

Governor Walz is lying. There is no possible way for a Governor to enact an abortion ban in Minnesota. It's been settled by the Supreme Court of MN. A good governor would explain this to voters, not use fear and misinformation to capitalize on voters' ignorance of the law.

BOOMERANG: Many Republicans were angry at @MikeMurphyForMN 's role at the @MNGOP State Convention in May. Murphy's last-minute support of @drscottjensen led to his endorsement. Well, with Jensen at the top of the ticket yesterday, Murphy lost his re-election by eight votes. Ouch.

I’m pretty sure that this Strib anecdote is completely untrue? I’m not an expert on WIC, but the eligibility guidelines seem to be uniform, and def don’t appear to vary qualifications based on geography, refugee status, etc. Anyone who can confirm/refute?

I worked on the Governor’s re-election campaign. I don’t agree with him 100% of the time, but I can’t imagine ever comparing him to DeSantis or Jensen. Hennepin County deserves better. (This opinion is my own, not reflective of my past/present employers).
