If CFL players are going to be asked to play a 6-game season in a bubble city, how about we offer "danger pay" to assist them in managing the risk. A 10% danger pay bump sounds reasonable. 🏈🇨🇦

I'm told that Brandin Cote will be announced as assistant coach (& Mike Babcock's successor) at the U of S this week. Cote is an assistant coach with the WHL's Swift Current Broncos and played four season for Babcock in Spokane from '95-'00.

Being told the WHL is still hoping to play a full 68-game season starting Dec 4. That would push playoffs to beginning of May and the Memorial Cup to third week of June.

I’m devastated to learn that our friend Chris Schultz died of a heart attack yesterday. He was 61. Schultzy was larger than life in so many ways... CFL and NFL. He played in both. He covered both. He loved both. His life was a football life. One I’ll never forget. RIP Big Man
