Nottingham Forest - Everton (05.04.2023) Entertainment, open played match between two teams involved in the fight for relegation. Enjoyed the atmosphere especially as I was in the "standing" area above the away fans. Superb ground, overzealous stewards. #groundhopping #NFFC

Milan - Torino 26.08.23 Serie A 🇮🇹 Highlight of the match was the few mins black out that switched off scoreboards and led panels, a wonderful throwback to the night matches in the 80s. Negative news: the new post goal music, a techno-caribbean jingle, is utterly irritating.

Stadio Paolo Mazza, home of SPAL Ferrara. Opened in 1928, restructured 2016-18. It's the finest example of a stadium renovation in Italy: perfectly sized and integrated in the neighborough, perfect view from every seat. It was falling in pieces 10 yrs ago, now is a gem.

Stadio Marassi, home of Genoa CFC and US Sampdoria. Opened in 1911 it's the oldest italian football ground, even if only the facade of the main stand survived the rebuilding pre-Italia90. The architect gave it the iconic design, the WC gave it the immortality.

Monza - Milan (18/02/2023) Another three points from an average performance. The two tiered stand has reopened, now holding 10000. Good support from the locals, one of the best seen at San Siro this season. Tip: head to the bar opposite the home end for a pre match drink.

Stadio Zini, Cremona. Six different stands tell the story of a work in progress stadium since the opening in 1919. Ends were built only in the late 70s after promotion to Serie B. Latest works expanded the east and south stands covering them. @CalcioEngland

Stadio Italia, home of Sorrento Calcio 1945. The ground itself isn't that beauty, three stands and a wall where the benches are digged in it. It's the surrounding landscape that make the place outstanding: the mountains of the Penisola Sorrentina, the sea and... the volcano.

Arena Civica of Milan, built for order of the Emperor Napoleon, opened in 1807. It hosted the first ever match of @Azzurri in 1910. Home of AC Milan until 1926, since then it's mainly used for athletic. Now home of Alcione Milano. @CalcioEngland @Mike_Bayly @MotherSoccerNL

Arena Garibaldi, Pisa. Another classic beauty. The current oval shape only took form in the late 70s. Untouched since the restructuring of the main stand in 1982. The Leaning Tower is a stone's throw away while the houses around frame the ground. @CalcioEngland @DavidAmoyal
