It’s a huge deal if $STX has a win-win relationship with regulators. It reduces the odds of the asset going to zero from a regulatory crackdown. This increases the expected value of the investment. “Heads I win big, tails I don’t lose much.”

@Gold_Mansack Seems likely that the Fed will continue the course they’re on until something even bigger breaks. There’s a good argument that their current actions are just a temporary bandaid to the regional bank weakness. Powell wants a legacy where he’s compared to Volker, not Burns.

@cburniske I’m actually thinking the opposite given the anemic market response to the ETF approval odds going way up with the SEC saying they aren’t going to challenge the Grayscale decision. I think $BTC should have really moved higher on that announcement on Friday.

1/ @PegNetNews is interesting as a layer 2 solution for scaling Bitcoin transactions. pBTC (pegged Bitcoin) is a stablecoin on the network pegged 1:1 to Bitcoin. What matters is the system builds communal trust in sustaining that value. In that way, pBTC could be a proxy for BTC.
