It seems to me that our governments are enthusiastically doing the bidding of an international network of psychopathic megalomaniacs.
If you have a better explanation for the state of the world today, please let me know.
The BBC website is reporting that the Luton Airport fire "started in a diesel car".
Two things come to mind:
1) Why do they feel the need to announce the fuel system of the suspected car?
2) Diesel? Really? It's possible but unlikely.
I'll keep an eye on this for edits.
I have now seen the photo that purports to show the car that started the blaze with a fire under its left side.
Which, in a Landrover diesel MHEV, is where the battery pack sits. 🤔

For as long as I can remember the pattern in British politics has been that the Tories win, fix the economy that Labour broke, people feel better and vote Labour, who break the economy again.
The problem this time is that the Tories broke the economy.
We're buggered, unless...
I am home from
#Wakefield
and am delighted to announce that I am now officially a Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Westminster for Reform UK.
I met up with nearly 200 other new PPCs, rather less than half of those already in place.
And now my X name makes sense again!

@rtenews
Fearless? As a breed you've been cowardly liars.
Don't try to convince yourselves you've behaved with any honour or integrity, because you won't convince us.
@joedamaggio
If you didn't see that large, slow-moving white object with the flashing light on it moving in front of you perhaps you shouldn't be out on public roads.
If you did, you definitely shouldn't.
Just a thought.
I'm sitting in Ted Heath's old local with a very nice pint, contemplating the very real possibility that Reform UK may just be about to take his old constituency away from his old party.
If you are in Old Bexley and Sidcup, please vote
@reformparty_uk
on Thursday.
As a former member of CalMac's head office team - which I greatly enjoyed - I don't really want to rain on their parade, but has that brand-new ferry been in a fight?
@AngusRobertson
Allowing some men to be considered as women is not voting for equality, but for extra privileges for a few men at the expense of the rights of many women.
Please repeat after me:
"COVID-19 is no longer a serious threat to the nation's health and there is no climate emergency."
Now go and enjoy your day. 🙂

Well,
@OxfordTax
, it rather appears that your article did not generate the thoughtful debate you expected.
I have read it, and am disgusted by it. If you would like a 787-word article explaining why this kind of thinking is an affront to humanity I will be happy to oblige.
@sajidjavid
I think this is the first time I have ever agreed with

There are two perfectly safe pavements for a small child to ride a bike on, no need to put him into traffic.
Every week Neil Oliver outdoes himself in articulating the fear, anger and plain exasperation of probably the majority of the British population.

So the Nuremberg Code goes by the board along with every other piece of Human Rights legislation and treaty?
We really are going to have a new series of Nuremberg trials.
@metoffice
Yes, I have.
I've been sending out sarcastic tweets about how kids today are really gullible, and that the government should have better things to do than try to scare the populace witless.
Apart from that, no, it's been a very pleasant summer's day. I wish we had more.
Victoria Police unlawfully arrested me on three occasions for doing my job as an independent journalist.
They refused to apologise until Rebel News filed a lawsuit in the Supreme Court.
Today they finally said sorry.

How about you show some respect for the people that pay your salary?
For me, the only effect of this tweet is to make me even more determined to help Reform UK dump you and your whole rotten regime as quickly as possible.

We have just reached 101 straight months of static or slightly decreasing atmospheric temperatures.
You'll forgive me if I don't join in this panic, won't you?

You heard it here - government plans compulsory vaccines.
Every single thing this government has said they would not do, they have eventually done.
@GBNEWS
If they are actually cancelling (and I doubt that) it will be because of the wonderful weather we will be having here at home.
I mean, it's going to be 17C here tomorrow, and hardly raining at all. How much better could there be?
@Tobias_Ellwood
No, let's not.
Give it up,
@Tobias_Ellwood
, you and the rest of the 77th have lost this battle. Prolonging it will just make the eventual blowback worse for you and your like.
@ukhomeoffice
To quote a senior member of your government - "So what?".
That is less than 0.1% of this year's illegal immigrants.
Don't spend time and money sending them back, prevent them from arriving.
I've been thinking what to say about this but I'm struggling.
A senior Tory is saying that free markets have failed. After the worst state interference in free enterprise in history has destroyed the country.
Conservatism is dead.

A very good way to increase the local population is to reinvigorate the main local industry, which is oil and gas extraction.
But the Greens won't let you do that, will they?
@SusanMichie
Fortunately you live in Britain, and British people have always tolerated eccentrics so you'll be fine.
What we can't tolerate is rich communists telling us how to live our lives so that they and their powerful friends can take over our lives.
One of the paradoxical drawbacks about growing up and living amongst decent, honest, hard-working people is that it can take a very long time to realise just how vile and corrupt the people in charge of our lives are.
I have realised now.
