We do not need or want a total lockdown in Devon and Cornwall with such low rates of the virus. I support the government in resisting Labour's plan. A regional approach is better for us, but we must all obey the rules. Hands. Space. Mask

I read today a scientist's opinion that the lockdown made no difference to the spread of the virus; then I read a different experts claim that the 9 day delay caused 1.5 mill to be infected. Is it time for more humility? Being guided by the science is not um...an exact science

Just had meeting in constituency with an aclectic collection of hard-working, non-political people, some of whom voted remain, some leave. They were unanimous: stop squabbling, back the PM and get a sensible Brexit done. Got it

Looked at phone at 7am. 2 emails urging me to block no deal, 2 threatening Armageddon if I did! Welcome to another day in Brexit Central. I am resolved to act in the national interest but suffering from the slight disadvantage of not knowing quite what that looks like.
