The FA Cup was going for 121 years before the Premier League started.
Stop pandering to these up-their-own-arse money-grabbing twats and start protecting the heritage and traditions of our beloved sport for EVERYONE
Salford have averaged 2,300 empty places in their “stadium” for each game this season. They’ve given County 536 tickets for the play-offs. Fuck off
@GNev2
and Co.

Congratulations to

and the rest of the Wrexham lot. Quality club, very similar fanbase to County, and deserve success after over a decade of shit in non-league. Hugs and kisses, your (more successful title-winning) older brother 😘
Missed most of it, but here’s the aftermath of Chester fans attacking Brackley players on the pitch at the final whistle today, before launching missiles at Brackley fans. Saw a young 5 year old Brackley fan with blood pouring from his head.
Will Ferrell’s gone from a Hollywood star to a fucking groundhopping nerd in the space of a week. He’ll be drinking Bovril and writing down the teams in his notepad at Hemel Hempstead Town by the weekend.
FT: Wrexham 2 (C)ounty 1
Wrexham definitely deserved an equaliser. We looked a bit tired second half. The game petered out as expected, I’d say a draw was about right, but Cannon’s cannoned one in at the end. Great atmosphere from both teams. Here’s to League One 👍
Rochdale fans seem to have a major problem with us moving them to another stand. How are they going to react when we move them into the National League on the same day?
Absolutely no way
@leytonorientfc
aren’t winning League Two now with £20m to spend in the transfer window. How the fuck are they selling wingers for £20m?
Really sad to hear the news of Ian Duncan’s passing today. A home and away County fan back in the day. Remember having a giggle with him on lots of away coaches over the years. Without doubt, one of our own.
Rest in peace, Ian 💙🎩
Can we all show a little love for
@_LiamCash
tonight. He doesn’t like the limelight (he was mortified when I ‘arrested’ him and put him in handcuffs for my best man speech) but this lad has grafted and grafted literally all day and all night constantly for the last few days.
I’ll say it now, Tanto’s goal is the loudest roar I’ve ever heard at EP. That was some atmosphere.
Not even got the energy to upload photos yet, I’m absolutely drained.
Actually…one photo. Get on this and sod off back to your plastic little club and plastic little ground.
Is there any better photo on a Saturday morning than a Carling-swigging, County shirt-wearing, Chris Beaumont on his way to Orient away?
Sublime photography work from

Win the league Tuesday.
Get a little shout out off the media.
Come to ours and get battered .
Jobs a gud un 😆😂
Well done 👍😉

Chin up Ryan Rydel (and the rest of the lads). After 11 years out of the league, 4th is a superb effort this season. But for a dodgy start we’d have comfortably been top three. There’s immense pride back in the club and the town. We’re capable of smashing top three next season.
On the 9th September against Stockport County, Tranmere Rovers will be leaving 135 seats in the Kop empty in dedication to the 135 people who die by suicide every ninety minutes.
The empty seats will instead be adorned with shirts lent to the club by supporters 🌹
Stockport County are delighted to announce we’ve now sold over 5,500 season tickets. (Unfortunately, half of them have been sold to bandwagon-jumping bed-wetting spunkbubbles.)
Hi
@GNev2
. I know you’re free next Sunday. Do you fancy coming over? Cooking a nice Sunday Dinner. You can bring a huge pudding with you if you like - trifle, or tiramisu, or Matthew Lund. Rest of the United lads are welcome too. (Apart from Giggs, obvs, as my wife will be there)
Stockport County have improved their league position for nine consecutive seasons now. A tenth will take us straight into League One next season.

It’ll never not warm my heart walking into a pub about 250 miles from home on a Tuesday night and seeing all the usual County faces.
COME ON COUNTY! 🎩💙

are now on sale to season ticket holders. We’ve been allocated an initial 2,000 tickets in the Peter Sutcliffe End. Concessions are available in the Harold Shipman Stand, if they want to chance it.
Bellingham and Kane arrogantly stood arms outstretched in front of the England fans. Get in the bin, you’ve been dogshit all game. Apart from a couple of the grounded hard-working youngsters like Mainoo and Palmer, cannot stand this England team.
Get me back to County 💙
FT: (C)ounty 4 Accrington 2
Sing it loud, sing it proud, Stockport County are the champions of League Two. We sunk to our lowest low, but we stuck with our club, and we’re now heading back to where we belong.
“If you’re all going Blackpool…”
Liverpool 2-0 down at Everton. It’s so unfair the way we treat the big six when it comes to the busy fixture list. If we cancelled those pesky FA Cup replays between Walsall and Gillingham, Liverpool would easily be winning tonight.
Huge congratulations to Wrexham. Has the takeover attracted a load of whoppers? Yes. (So has County’s to be fair.) But Wrexham’s a proper FL club with a proper fanbase throughout the town. Raised £100,000 in 7 hours (pensions, life savings, kids pocket money) to save the club.
WE’RE (PRETTY MUCH) UP! 3 points tonight means County have got 9 toes in League 1 next season (unless MK make up 26 goals in 3 games). A point on Saturday and it’s official. And if MK don’t win we’re up anyway. We could also be champions on Sat, but we’d need MK & Wrexham to lose
Some dork from Delaware or weapon from Wisconsin now gets priority to watch Wrexham home games over a season ticket holder who lives over the road and has been going for 50 years.
FT: County 1 Wimbledon 0
For me, I’d say the Wombles just about deserved a point. But promotion-winning teams find a way to win, and a belter from Bailey secures three HUGE points.
We’re nearly there.
Unlucky, Wrexham. It’s the play-offs for you!
(You’ll have to ask the BBC website team why Morecambe have clinched top three without playing any games.)
Happy two year anniversary to Dave Challinor!
It was two years ago today that DC returned to Edgeley Park as manager, ahead of our FA Cup trip to Bolton.
Not been a bad couple of years has it!
Footballer? Jesus, that’s a bit of a stretch in the EIGHTH tier of English football. That’s like me saying I’m a pilot cause I once flew my kite in Woodbank Park.
10 years ago (yesterday) County drew 0-0 at Colwyn Bay in the Skrill North. Our 14th consecutive game without a win. Our 7th consecutive game without even scoring a goal. We finished 14th, two points behind Leamington, and just ahead of Worcester on goal difference.
Some cracking FA Cup action starting on ITV shortly between

to watch these small non-league village teams, it’s what the cup is all about.
A proper “County” signing this lad was. Understood what the club and the fans were all about, evidenced perfectly by his performance at The Prince Albert that night! A massive “all the best” to Scott as he heads down south.
It’s 2024, and I’m all for anyone choosing to be whatever they want in life. But I’m sorry Sainsbury’s, you can’t have yoghurts suddenly identifying as butties in a meal deal.
I need to hand back my C in GCSE Geography to Stockport Grammar. I could have sworn Crewe was in Cheshire. But judging by this turnout, it’s clearly in Devon.
@fearlessidzine
Always get loads of gimps online.
I know proper County and Wrexham fans would be absolutely ecstatic with third place this season, after those combined 26 years we’ve just spent in non-league.
Any County fans in
@thisisbask
this morning? Say hello to Britton, who’s arriving in Stockport early today (he’s flown in from Chicago for his first ever County game!). Get him a pint in 👍🍺
It’s this lad’s 20th birthday today. A Gillingham fan, on his way to County, which will be his 99th consecutive Gills game. Got to say fair play to the lad haven’t we. Oh, and happy birthday!
Nick Powell was once fined £20 at Wigan for saying: “I tooled your mum.” Is this really the sort of player we want at Stockport County? What’s he gonna be like at Bask on a Saturday night?
Scenes at the Deva at the end. Chester fans have invaded the pitch attacking Brackley players and staff. Then launched a load of missiles and flares at Brackley fans, before police finally came rushing on.
