There’s this kid at the skate park I’ve been helping out with tips and advice for a few sessions now. Today he asked me what I do for a living. I told him. Turns out he’s planning to study computer science when he goes to college. Naturally I told him to check out Ruby.

Had a slight panic attack over the weekend thinking about the fact that if my proposal was accepted, I would actually have to produce & give that talk. Public speaking is my biggest fear. I can already hear the shake in my voice lol. That said, this is where the growth happens.

Project mode in full effect. Final one for @FlatironSchool . Had my first meeting with my career coach today as well. Already applied to about 10 jobs, expect to have to apply to ~200 or more. It's going to be a long road but honestly I'm super stoked to tread the waters. #PMA
