11 seasons of coaching HS football, I've received my 1st unsportsmanlike penalty. When an official gives you a hard stare for 10 seconds like he wants to fight, you best believe I'm going to match your energy. At that point you're not officiating. You're abusing your authority.

Everyone can't win. Someone has to be 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc. Everyone can't go D1. Someone has to go D2, D3, NAIA, JUCO. Don't miss out on opportunities because you're stuck on being a D1 student-athlete. Be honest with yourself. Find a good fit and play where you can play.

@AZHSFB As posted on Oberts tweet, I understand the outcry. Punish the coach, not the players. It's not fair to them. But that's the rules. Coaches know this and risk it anyway. I hope those that disagree with the ruling understands that this had to be done. Feel bad for the players.

I've never been beat this badly. 80-28. 🤦🏾‍♂️Sheesh. Bagdad is a very physical team. Did they run up the score? NO. Not at all. I'm a firm believer that backups need in game reps. So keep your same game plan. Much respect to Coach Mills @sultanbaseball5 . All love after the game.

Sadly, nothing will happen if I filed a complaint to the AIA. Consequences for coaches but none for officials. And this is a message to any official. If you are going to be unprofessional and step outside of officiating a game, you best believe I'm going to match your energy.

@AZSPORTSNETWORK You won't get many who will speak about this topic. Big schools get the better refs. Lots of referees have power to pick their crew. Good refs at the lower levels but alot of those crews are mixed with some bad ones. When you visit certain towns, you get the home cooking.

Recently was asked why I tweet others schools and players highlights out. Last time I checked we coach not to get revenge against other schools an their players or to bash them. It is about giving all our athletes opportunity and support teachings from the game we love to coach.
