We had a JV game last night at Meek H.S where Dad coached football/baseball/track in the 80s. Tried our best to recreate this picture from 30 years ago (wrong knee but it’s the only way he could get down that low & sorry for not having the short shorts and his awesome stache).

Had a blast tonight with my old former(no offense Mason), recent former and upcoming QB. Saw Creed II & had some tacos from Oscars. Nights like this are what make being a coach so much fun. Also helps being able to coach some really cool guys who just happen to be super talented.

After major car issues & a rainy day on what was supposed to be a short trip, it looked like a bust on the vacation. It ended up being a blast of a family vacation. Jax made two hole in ones & hit a jackpot in the arcade. Seeing him so happy made the troubles so worth it.

The field house has now become a nerf gun battle ground. Jax has been talking about this non stop since yesterday. That last dart in the back didn’t feel good but was better than getting shot in the neck in paintball by @TaeHarris00 . I also see a possible house comp using these.

10 months ago my grandmother, Memaw, was given 4-6 weeks to live. Today was her first day back in church in over a year and it was so amazing that our whole family was able to join her. We are so thankful & so blessed to be able to celebrate this Easter with our Memaw. #Easter21

Today was one of the best days I’ve ever had as a coach. Started with an intense team workout,dodgeball comp &mat drills. Then leadership training for our player council. Each coach presented on a leadership trait,all did an incredible job. Lunch and 🏀 together after that. #DTD

We started spring training with our Oklahoma drill. It wasn’t good. No energy & big lack of physicality. Today we finished spring practice with the same drill & it was awesome! We were extremely physical & had the energy & desire to win. Tells me it was a productive spring. #DTD

Me & a buddy from high school have had a tradition to go Christmas shopping & have a meal together every year since our Sr year. This year marked 16 years for us. Some years we bought a pack of gum or sat down just to have a taco but we always make time to complete the tradition.
