I remember when I was asking about my right to initimacy as a woman at the Kadhi's Court during my divorce it was taken as a shock. As if we have no right to it and merely a service to men.

Getting a legal marriage certificate from the Kadhi's Court is an option not obligatory. In cases of Inheritance as per sharia law, you can still go independently to a lawyer/kadhi for that enforcement. #legalloopholesthataintharam

Why is it in most cultures, when a man is infertile the wife is told to be patient, it is God's Will, they were not meant to have children. But when the woman is infertile, a man is told to marry another woman to get children? Is the right to bear children solely for men?
