KJ Johnson broke 2 schools records today.
She broke her own record in the 60m dash (7.85) and she also broke the 60m hurdle record (9.07)
Previous records were 7.86 and 9.08
NEW SCHOOL RECORD! On his very first toss of the competition, Taylor Bottomley shatters his PR in the weight with a toss of 16.81m, beating Maurice Coons record from 2010. That throw is an NAIA 'B' qualifier, and we still have more to go!
Coach Nelson in his 10 years at CMU has had great success, 2 time coach of the year, 3 national champions, 33 NAIA All-Americans, and broken more than 70 school records!! We will definitely miss Coach Nelson. Good Luck with your next journey!
