That was probably one of the most insane deciders I've seen. If Mark Allen's shot to the bunch worked out better he would've won but fell with a 62 break. John Higgins doubled the first red and cleared to win with a 71 break on the final black. Incredible. Bravo. #snooker

Jak Jones was relegated from the tour in 2011, 2015 and 2018 qualifying through numerous competitions and Q School. He survived via the One Year Ranking List in 2020 and only just made the Top 64 in 2022! He is an example of a snooker player who never stops trying. #snooker

From 3-8 down to win 10-9. I bet a lot of young players would've been frazzled against as slow and steady and hugely experienced like Rod Lawler, but Ben Mertens stood up to the test by punishing Lawler with a 68 break to win the match on the blue. Bravo. Plays Si Jiahui next.

Maflin and Akani not being on tour is quite gobsmacking. Considering Maflin was ranked in the 20s and reached the World Championship quarter-finals just a couple of years ago, it's even more of a surprise how quickly things have turned. #snooker

Interesting chats on the rankings system and who the deserving No. 1 is. Yes, Trump has been the better player over the two-year period. But Selby has also won titles and did better in the WC and Coral Series events too. Give Selby credit for being No.1 for goodness sake! 👏👏
