Why most of the press said that Luca is the first World Snooker Champion from a non-Commonwealth country? @kendoherty1997 is Irish. Ireland isn't a country of Commonwealth. He is the first World Snooker Champion from a non-Commonwealth country.

34 years Ago... 14th April 1990, Steve James made the first "16-red" clearance on the 11th frame of his clash against Alex Higgins. Took the Brown as Free-Ball to begin the break and made a 135 clearance to lead 6x5. He won the match by 10x5. Referee was John Williams.

Got a friend Who was at the Crucible this year... Printed my photo and told @brendanmoore147 that he had a friend in Portugal with a snooker Page... Brendan recognized me and took this photo "with me" hiding John Higgins from it. Savage. Later Brendan signed it. This is amazing.

On this Day... 4 May of 1998 John Higgins won his first World title. 18x12 against @kendoherty1997 who was one of the two Players that came really close to break the Crucible Curse. With this win, John Higgins ended the 8 year reign as World #1 from @SHendry775 .

17 of April.. 18 years Ago Paul Hunter played his last ever professional snooker match... In the Crucible at L32 of World Snooker Championship 2006. Neil Robertson won 10x5. That lovely smile appeared anytime despite his condition. Gone but never forgotten. ♥
