Happy Birthday to the Duchess of Cambridge.
We are so lucky to have a women who respects her role and the traditions and protocol that comes with this role. Such perfection.

Good riddance. So glad I no longer have to apologise for his failure to turn up in North Ipswich regularly.
We work so hard in North Ipswich as a Conservative group and have had to carry him for years and make so many excuses for his regular cancellations.
The Conservative Group wanted Ipswich Borough Council to lead the way in creating a Knife Crime Strategy just like other councils have. The Labour Group struggled to see beyond the colour of rosettes for the greater good for Ipswich and said no.
What another sad day for our town
A woman was raped in a hospital ward. The hospital denied a man was on that ward for an entire year. A police investigation delayed. The victim betrayed. It's essential this horrific event is not repeated. Women deserve the right to a safe space and NHS trusts must follow this.

Think of all those women who have been unable to have a child and have been completely ignored over the years. Now that men want to have children, suddenly we may make that possible.
There is a reason we are seeing a spike in people who are experiencing gender dysphoria and that's because a sexist and homophobic ideology is being taught in our schools.
Parents need to be aware of this!
Read the Cass review! Keep a close eye on your child's education.
An Ipswich mum has spoken of her concerns about sex education, saying she has deep concerns about what is being taught in Suffolk schools. 👇 Full story
Collette you don't seem to understand diversity. In this photo are men & women of all ages, sexualities, some with disabilities campaigning for a candidate who originally came from Albania. But don't let that get in the way of your narrative.
@billybragg
When I was young, my nan had cancer. I was "sleeping" in her room and she came in and took off her wig. I sat up and said "I knew you were Lily Savage!" She burst into laughter. She didn't ask for drag queens to be banned. Dont bring cancer into such a bonkers argument.
Smiling faces after a difficult Thursday where a Labour Cllr made such a fuss about my children being present, I felt I had no choice but to leave. Very low blow by a Cllr who has previously been forced to apologise for her poor behaviour. Single parents exist. Deal with it!
All UK councillors have been contacted demanding they sign a letter calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza & claiming that "antisemitism is being weaponised...to absolve Israel of any accountability".
It says councillors who do not sign will have their names publicised.

Very thankful to all those who voted for me. Being a Cllr is the best thing I've ever done and I'm very happy to now have a full term to continue living my dream.
Thank you all.
Some good news for the Conservatives as they hold Castle Hill with Sam Murray. Sam Murray (C)* 978, Kimberley Clements (L) 668, Martin Pakes (LD) 423. Turnout: 35.6%. Con hold.

Another parent has made we aware that her daughter is not changing her sanitary towels in school because of boys in her toilets. Another school added to my ever growing list to investigate.
This has got to stop

So we've gone from migrants, back to targeting those on benefits. I wonder who will be next before it's then back to migrants for the divisive politics we seem to only see now? These ill thought out policies surely must come to an end at some point? The grown ups are waiting.

His greatest role in life is being a father. Give it a rest for one day.
I'm not even a fan of his and I'm sick and tired of this.
@AaronBastani
You've missed the point of this. The complaint is not that people have been seen too quickly, it's that they cannot book appointments in advance meaning they then can't get an appointment full stop. Some people with long term health issues need to be able to book in advance appts

It is our job to protect children, not to use children in this way to protect us.

Regardless of the urgency of the 'offer', parents deserve real answers on kids' jab risk-benefit
Miriam Cates: Given reports of serious side effects and lack of long-term safety data, "how confident is the Govt that the vaccination of healthy 5-11s will do more good than harm?"
What a wonderful exchange. I wish our politicians of today could have interviews where they can answer a question fully and have a discussion. There's so much to gain if we went back to this, instead of gotcha moments and journos yelling.
I won't forget how I was made to feel like an anti vax conspiracy theorist loon for saying healthy children should not be getting THIS specific Vax when it's not needed. I stood my ground and declined it for my children.
The WHO now says healthy young people don't need a covid jab, suggesting the focus on covid has compromised routine child immunisations.
As we've been saying for over two years.
Both JCVI &

have warned of impacts on routine childhood jabs.
I am so delighted that the first 2 family cooking classes delivered in Whitehouse have been a success.
My heart and soul goes into trying to get these things off the ground. Thank you so much to all those involved who made this happen. Cannot wait for further roll outs.
We are the envy of the world because we can walk up to our elected representatives and tell them to their face how we feel. That must never change.
I believe democracy is something we must cherish and direct contact is a part of that.
But my gosh is my heart heavy tonight.

Great community clear up day. Nice to see an area of Whitton now get a fresh start ready for Christmas.
Myself along with Cllrs
@CrusaderIan
, Tony Gould, David Goldsmith and Whitton rural Cllr Steve Wells enjoyed helping residents and offering advice about services available.
We may wear a different colour rosette but we are friends who always treat each other with respect.
Today we both spoke in support of a common goal, to end the male violence against women and girls.
Thank you

The issue is the education isn't appropriate. Do you think it's appropriate for a 10 year old girl to be taught about anal sex and blow jobs?
Do you think it's appropriate for children to be taught that their "womeness" is determined by how many feminine things they enjoy?
Myself,
@lizharsant
, Cllr Tony Gould and Cllr Pippa Gordon met with the Ipswich Cladiators today to discuss where they are with their campaign and what the next steps are for them.
Huge thank you to
@SuffolkFire
for letting me visit the Ipswich East Fire Station today and have a tour. It's been an absolutely fascinating day looking at prevention and then response. What a wonderful team.

What on earth does having "an online profile of adult content" have to do with the price of fish on this?
I won't make content on this person and if she's Madeline, but to use that as a reason to discount her is very bizarre
@janey1000
I personally don't believe his reasoning after sitting on a safe seat for all these years whilst being the famous "Dr Dan". It took him all this time to feel this way? Utter BS. He's probably realised he didn't do enough
@BellaWallerstei
Disagree. He's showing the public exactly what Keir is like. He has no answers for anything. I like Sunak's fire in his belly tonight.
You'll be pleased to know, I've stopped crying. We're in opposition with no cllr locality budget on the Borough and this has still been achieved. We put our heart and soul into these campaigns. Today I feel awesome. I cannot wait to see this installed.
My visit to Buckingham Palace was by far the best day of 2022!
Quite possibly one of the best days of my life.
My invite from the late Queen Elizabeth II will be kept safely forever in my memory box.

I appreciate Tom's honesty about his neurodiversity.
I've had a lifelong Labour voter tell me she won't be voting for Labour today. She has ND children and felt that of all the things to attack someone on, this wasn't one of them.
We went to Buckingham Palace to lay flowers and say goodbye to Queen Elizabeth II
We also somehow managed to be there to welcome our new King back from St James Palace.
Sad and surreal but also an important moment in our history.

It can be if the actions of the schools has meant parents have lost faith. Such as not noticing a child is in the process of having an asthma attack. A parent would be reluctant after to send their child in on wheezy days as the trust has been broken.
It's been a week since I was elected and my gosh it's been both busy and exciting. I look forward to learning as much as I can and meeting as many people as I can in the next few weeks and months. What a privilege this is.
It's election day!

He knows what a woman is. Does Jack?
Looks like Ipswich Labour are not allowing a female County Councillor to have her quotes for the areas she's supposed to be a spokesperson for. Is her voice less important to Labour than the male "former spokesperson" who, unlike her, is no longer elected?

Days like today make it all worthwhile. The new Castle Hill play park is now open with the first ability swing in Suffolk 🙂
Lovely touches added to make this a very inclusive park. The Autism Communication Board brings back memories of when my own child needed this.
I'm elated!
Had a lovely afternoon at the Bramford Lane Allotments Open Day with my children and my Colleague Cllr David Goldsmith. The kids loved making a scarecrow each.
Delivering a positive message today of all the work your Conservative Councillors are doing.
Action is what the public want. That's what we give them.

Great to see the planters and bike rack finally up at Garrick Way. The bike racks are better placed here and should reduce bikes blocking shop entrances 🤞🏻
We also hope, with planters either side it will add protection and stop people parking their cars on this pavement.

Because I haven't stood for enough elections. Sadly my term on the borough wasn't a full term as it was a by-election, so I'm now standing again in hope of re-election. I love being a Councillor and believe I'm a pretty dedicated one. Let's hope the residents agree 🤞🏻

Whilst at an allotment one resident told me "to be honest I've always hated politicians. But now I feel sorry for people like you and what you have to put up with. The way the media operates is disgusting. Why on earth would anyone put themselves through it? I now hate the media
"I'm not having it. I'm sick to death of them. My inbox is full of people who are fed up to death of the BBC. They are biased."
"Its time we defunded them and its time MPs like me fought back and told them exactly what we think of them"
Take a bow, Lee Anderson. Superb!🔥👏👏👏
I could only dream of getting the personal support that
@tomhunt1988
has had by so many of the residents he has helped. As a friend, I am proud of the work he has done during his term and as a Conservative member, I couldn't have asked for a better representative for our town.
