She was followed around the store by a security guard, so we both stood there and glared at him till he went off. I'm white, she's black. He held our son in his hands and just looked at him (and baby looked back) for what seemed forever. He was so mesmerized he couldn't talk. And then held him on his chest for hours.

@moonyeyed I had just delivered my son via c-section(he didn't wanna come out) and he wouldn't nurse. I laid in my bed sobbing, couldn't make myself stop. My roommate (whose baby was doing it all the right way) called the nurse and told her I needed help. I think of her when i'm exhausted.
