Gedaliah Ben Pashhur was 1 of the ministers who plotted to kill the Prophet, Jeremiah. What you are looking at is the first seal which belonged to Gedaliah Ben Pashhur. The second was Yehuchal ben Shelemayahu. Both are mentioned in the book Jeremiah in exactly the same verse 38:1

Year 2 coin embedded into the Pilgrimage Road from the moment of destruction in 70 CE. Minted in 68 CE by the Jewish freedom fighters as an act of rebellion against the Roman army, the coin was left behind by the last remaining Jews fleeing #Jerusalem as it was destroyed.

The Siloam Inscription recounts the dramatic meeting of the two groups of diggers, each digging toward one another, to create the tunnel that would allow water to flow from the Gihon Spring to the Shiloah Pool, saving #Jerusalem from the Assyrian siege 2,700 years ago.
