I find this quite a fun way to work from home. Fire up flight sim, take off then stick it on autopilot. Hack while listening to ATC chatter and keeping an eye on it, then jump back on again to land a couple hours later. Currently flying a Citation Longitude from Dublin to Sion :)

So we were testing out ONCE #1 on a big AWS instance and hitting 30,000 concurrent users on our metrics. Pretty cool to see that using sqlite! Can't wait to see what we can do with our new gen 5 SSD boxes. Sqlite can go very far these days.

I wonder how much of the world's software doesn't need the fault tolerance and supposed arbitrary scalability of modern cloud platforms, but instead sits in a sweet spot where the simplicity, speed, and decent scale possible with a single server is enough
