Much agreed! Wish there was more discussion around this. This would greatly reduce the need of providers to incentivise counterparty liquidity and create a more level playing field where the network effects of liquidity decrease, causing more decentralization between providers.

Also while coming out of my Twitter hiatus. Rather than LST enshrinement, EIP7002 should allow you to jump to the top of the exit queue. The fee is exponential, so you won't be able to exit too many validators, but instant liquidity would mitigate the need for LSTs.

From @LidoFinance 's $stETH to @puffer_finance 's $pufETH to @eigenlayer restaking positions, it will require accepting them all into DeFi to make decentralization more economically feasible. Building a better lending platform for validator-backed assets will be the answer.

@brandontory Not necessarily, node operators on EigenLayer and validators on ETH can be the same entity, but it's entirely dependent on the AVS architecture. More likely, most AVS NO systems are going to be run in specialized hardware instances separated from Ethereum validators.
