a very worrying attitude. the first point says to me that this person sees names they don't recognise and dismisses them out of hand as 'very newly emergent'. infuriating. 🤬 a lot of care goes into choosing broken sleep books!

THREAD: Was awarded a small grant for an upcoming book yesterday, but one of the panel had 2 issues with Broken Sleep Books: 1. Many writers seem to be 'very newly emergent.' 2. The variety of genre displayed indicates a lack of aesthetic direction.
