The latest development version of cfbfastR (v1.9.0) is available on github. It includes new functions to pull data from ESPN and from our data repo v1.8.0 also included some big quality of life improvements and we highly recommend updating if you haven't

🚨🚨 I did an analytics 🚨🚨 My first project on R compared Backup QBs in their first and second start of the season to see if they “settle in” and that doesn’t really happen. Few are good in both games, many are around average or just below, many have at least one stinker.

@MichaelCorrie You can use cfbd_pbp_data() to get play-by-play usually within a couple minutes of the game ending. The data repo that load_cfb_pbp() uses is only updated a few times over the course of Saturday. By Sunday morning it should have everything available.
