🇲🇦 AZZEDINE OUNAHI
I’m fully expecting this mercurial talent to leave Angers in 2023, the World Cup will only garner more potential suitors for him.
Scout Report 🧵⬇️
🚨 Pre season training begins on July 4th where the new training staff will put the players through a gruelling two week fitness regime at Cobham. (

🇫🇷 Disasi is physical, aggressive, has fantastic ball carrying ability + can pick a pass.
🏴 Colwill is patient, precise + incisive with his passing.
Both dominate aerial duels and win their fair share on the ground.
The dynamics of this CB pairing are perfect for Chelsea...💎
Understand Liverpool have outbid Chelsea for Moises Caicedo which would also help explain Chelsea’s bid for Lavia. Suggestion however remains that Caicedo would prefer Chelsea move. More to follow

Bashir Humphreys has been one of Chelsea’s most impressive performers in pre season. Epitomises composure and coolness in possession + tends to read the game well at 20 yo.
How many CB’s do we know who are equally impressive on either foot too?
Next loan spell is vital. 📈
In terms of profile, affordability and his overall versatility within the forward areas, as well as midfield, it would make a lot of sense for Mohammed Kudus to be a target for Chelsea this summer.
At 6’3 and 19 years old, Lesley Ugochukwu is both physically imposing and defensively diligent.
You could say he’s a more technically refined and more possession orientated version of Amadou Onana.
Can’t stress enough how important signing a profile like Cole Palmer was in the summer.
Chelsea now have 3 top class creators in key parts of the pitch.
- Reece James from wide
- Enzo Fernandez from deeper areas
- Cole Palmer in the final third/between the lines.
At 6’3, Joao Palhinha is not only a physical specimen, but a defensive duel winning monster. Can dominate the midfield single handedly as the 6 and is elite at screening a defence. He’d allow Enzo Fernandez + others to flourish further forward.
Chelsea should be in for him.
Disasi isn’t some 18yo kid whose been thrown into the team. He’s 25yo and has 150+ senior appearances in France.
Can’t keep relying on Silva anymore, he’s 39 and will be leaving at the end of the season.
It’s time to look to the future (Disasi, Colwill, Badiashile).
Levi Colwill surely continues at centre-back but who partners him?
Imho Silva & Disasi have been pretty equal however I think we’re underestimating Silva’s leadership & just how clever a player he really is. In a team full of inexperienced youngsters, I think we need him.

🇳🇱 Sven Botman (£33m)
🇧🇷 Bruno Guimaraes (£37m)
🇸🇪 Alexander Isak (£62m)
Newcastle have spent £132m on three talents under the age of 25 that have made a monumental impact in a relatively short period of time. Phenomenal recruitment.
Marc Guiu showing why age is just a number. Mentally, he is not a teenager. The timing of his runs in-behind, combined with his intelligent pressing and determination to antagonise defenders is a constant pattern. Reminiscent of Diego Costa with his relentless nature.
🚨 Newcastle close to agreement with AC Milan to sign Italy international Sandro Tonali for fee in region of €70m. Subject to final negotiations for 23yo,

Madueke’s sheer physicality + desire to gain an advantage on his opposing man will lead him to plenty of G/A. His ability to quickly shift either way on the ball will also open up angles + opportunities for him. Add his ball striking qualities on either foot too. Top prospect.
Left 8, right 8, LW, RW, 10 and can even play CF. Works hard wherever he plays and can produce from any position. This is a versatile and valuable individual, who at 22 years old, has plenty more room to grow. Top talent. 💎
Chelsea have upgraded an ageing midfield in Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic and replaced them with youthful and top class modern day technicians in Enzo, Caicedo and Lavia all within 12 months.
That midfield is now set for 5+ years at the very minimum. Superb squad planning.
Caicedo playing at 50% and still the best player on the pitch. You just have to pay the money and get it done. It’s a ceiling raiser of a signing for Chelsea and it couldn’t be more evident. People will forget about the price in 6 months - same as they did with Enzo.
Chalobah and Gallagher aren’t good enough for Chelsea so I don’t understand why everyone is having a massive head-loss over it. James and Colwill are the untouchable Cobham players based on ability
🚨 BREAKING: Real Madrid will turn their attention to Kai Havertz if they can’t get Harry Kane. Pochettino would not mind if he left for another signing, he is not a priority in his plans. (

🇺🇾 Manuel Ugarte vs Benfica:
• 51/55 accurate passes (93%)
• 5/5 successful dribbles (most)
• 14/20 ground duels won (most)
• 6/7 accurate long balls
• 4/6 tackles won
• 8 recoveries
Bossed it. 💪
I’m not gonna compare him yet to the person we’re all thinking of, but little flashes of technical brilliance like this add more weight to the argument…
🇫🇷 Kouadio Kone (21)
Kone in a way, strikes me as a hybrid of Kovacic + Kante.
• Kante’s excellent ball winning ability, dynamism + low sense of gravity.
• Kovacic’s close control dribbling + the press resistant trait. Excellent ball carrier.
Need him at Chelsea.
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Chelsea have reached an agreement in principle with AS Monaco to sign defender Axel Disasi.

~€45m for 25yo France int’l. Right centre-back option. Fofana out for considerable period due to knee injury
@TheAthleticFC
This is where people will understand more the importance of tying key players down on long term contracts. Colwill still has 6yrs left to run on his deal. Nothing to worry about here.
Maresca likes to use his CF’s to drop deep, help connect the play between the two attacking 8’s, and to get in behind defences. Jackson will continue to thrive and develop as a player, but this will also suit Nkunku. Can’t see someone like Osimhen becoming a Chelsea player tbh.
Angelo Gabriel (18) has the decision making of a 28 yo. Treats the ball like a baby - so delicate with his actions. The weight, execution + eye for a pass at his tender age signifies he can hang at the top level. A key to unlocking a low block? Promising.
Cole Palmers ability to become the main conductor in games and have such influence is superb. Always makes himself available for the ball + is always positive with it.
Malo Gusto a top 1v1 defender coupled with physicality, pace + attacking impetus.
£70m total for both. Value.
Lewis Hall can be a ready made LB solution for Chelsea and it isn’t even his natural position. Technically gifted, athletic, can invert, can hold width. Will win duels.
He’s a talented 18 year old eager to impress. Can we please give him a chance to do that?
Thanks.
6’5 aerially dominant defender that will slot comfortably into a possession-based team. Has the anticipation + pace to sniff out dangerous attacks before they develop too. Expecting Tosin to nail down a permanent place in the Chelsea XI - leading to a first England call up.
The misprofiling of players by Poch so far is baffling.
Colwill LB, Chilwell as a forced LW at the expense of Mudryk who needs consistent minutes to develop, Enzo operating at 10 when he’s a deep lying playmaker. Palmer should be starting regularly. Gallagher + Silva shouldn’t.
Pay the price to live the life.
Caicedo would be a transformative signing which helps take Chelsea to a different dimension. This is a position that’s been neglected for years + it’s one of, if not the most important.
Blowing a bag on him or Tchouameni is more than justifiable.
Expected Casadei to be more Chelsea ready than Andrey Santos but it’s the opposite.
Andrey Santos… very impressed with what I’ve seen so far.
Casadei should go on loan to a possession orientated side, chasing promotion - which is why a move to Leicester would be great.
You know what’s crazy about this Chelsea side.
Once this team fully finds its feet, it’ll be over for the Premier League and Europe, for real. This squad is stacked with top talent in multiple departments. It’s too good to fail.
Talk soon.
Carney Chukwuemeka is a special, special talent. Chelsea are incredibly lucky to have a player like him coming up. Can’t wait to see him blossom into a superstar.
@CFCPys
3atb is Chelsea heritage. Allows Reece (RCB) and Gusto to play in the same team (RWB) and allows Palmer and Nkunku in the half spaces more which is where they operate best. Amorim is also a top coach, so yeah I’d be all for it.
🇫🇷🔵 If I had to pick any young RB/RWB in the world for Chelsea to sign, it would’ve been Malo Gusto.
One of the most important signings the club will make this January window - just a pity he’s joining in the summer as opposed to now.
Top tier talent. France’s future

Scout Report 🧵⬇️
6’3 physical + commanding defender, a progressive passer + an effective ball carrier. Axel Disasi can play as a CB in a 3 or 4 - suitable for a team wants to be flexible in possession.
Will be valuable in the final third. A surprisingly very good ball striker on either foot too.
Understand Nico Jackson’s contract at Chelsea will be valid until June 2031 — it’s eight year deal! 🔵✍🏻

Medical completed in two days, first part yesterday and second today.
€37m to Villarreal, bit more than release clause but better payment terms.
These two ballers operating in the same team. Just pure technical hoopers who can score and create from many angles. They’ll put up scary G/A numbers between them. Going to be a massive problem for opposition defences.
You’ll never trick me into believing the quality of most these Chelsea players is the problem. This is currently the second best *squad* in the league behind Man City. Non believers will believe soon.
Whoever goes on to sign Declan Rice is making a serious statement. This is a player who does his defensive work diligently, one of the best carriers of the ball in the league, has an eye for goal, and is a leader at age 24. He can become one of the best midfielders in the world.
Can’t think of too many better ball winners in the world than Palhinha. Showed levels today once again.
A traditional and workmanlike defensive midfielder will never go out of fashion. He’s worth it.
Willian Estevao + Kendry Paez are two of the biggest prospects emerging from South America. When a player of their quality and potential is available, you buy and ask questions later. Top clubs operate this way. The €60m purchase of Endrick to Real Madrid is a recent example.
We won’t see the best of Enzo-Caicedo in these current tactical conditions. They’re not suited to constant NBA style transitions and covering large amounts of space. This is a pairing that will dominate 80%+ of games under a coach that places emphasis on possession and control.
Don’t really understand why many Chelsea fans are outraged over the Tyler Adams deal?
Poch said he wants experience, maybe doesn’t trust Santos to be starting PL games yet? Lesley seems to be going on loan and maybe Gallagher gets sold?
£20m is a steal in addition to Caicedo.
@SamC_reports
Just received a text from a rival Premier League board member, talking about the Yoro news that simply read: “Yoro to Utd is a stepping stone move before Madrid in a couple years”
@GMCG9899
Contract length can be any period. Amortisation under UEFA but not PL rules limited to 5 years from this summer. Not an issue for Chelsea as not playing in Europe.
Have always maintained since the concrete links that it’ll be Jackson + Broja competing for the CF spot with Datro Fofana going out on loan.
Signing another CF wouldn’t make sense to me when Nkunku can also play there.
The Veiga links make sense as he can play as an 8/10/SS.
