I always knew that Chimamanda was magic. I always knew that buried in some books I had read before lay powerful, unbridled magic. Now, I see that one of the things that make her such a force to be reckoned with is her irresistible use of descriptions interwoven with narration.

I’ve heard “Nigerian trauma books” at least five times this morning. Are you guys that tired of seeing so much trauma? 😂😭 I’m not sure it can be helped sha, because 1) there is a lot of trauma. 2) There’s this subtle bias for “serious intellectual” books.

@UberNigeria Your driver, Obadiah, whose plate number is SMK698QM has absconded with a delivery package which contained an Iphone 11 pro. We booked the ride today by 12:43pm. Obadiah picked it up by 1:06pm and Obadiah ended the ride by 1:44pm all without making the delivery.

Update: We tracked the driver, found where he works, and the actual owners of the bike. We have his phone numbers, which aren’t switched off by the way, and all his social media accounts. We just don’t know what to do with all of these. Please help.
