BREAKING NEWS: Julien BriseBois stated today that forward Ryan Callahan has been diagnosed with degenerative back disease and recommended that he no longer play professional hockey.
🤰🏼💕 Excited to welcome a baby girl with my husband this April! With that said, these two road games will be my last on the call for the rest of the regular season, as I can’t travel for the remainder of my pregnancy. Hope to be back ASAP!
Some personal news… baby number 3 on the way! Grateful for the opportunity to fill in for

Luke Richardson brought some treats to media today, “It’s not cookies but…” Welcome the new Goose Island Blackhawks Pale Ale.
@GooseIsland
@NHLBlackhawks
Hiiii! Sorry I’ve been MIA from twitter and social media for so long. Having a baby during a pandemic and two professional sports schedules has been pretty wild to say the least. Anxious to get back in saddle! 🤠
“I’m literally shaking!” Special moment after practice for Dakota 😊. He competes in the Special Olympics and got to meet his favorite player, Steven Stamkos today. He’ll be at Saturday’s game in Ottawa.
Jon Cooper’s celebration after Kucherov’s goal says it all. The Islanders had every opportunity to take a lead in this game, especially on the powerplay. The Lightning hung in there with a shortened bench and found a way. Big win.
Blake Coleman welcomed a baby girl yesterday at 6:30pm right before puck drop. He said he’s had maybe 5 hours of sleep the last 2 days but received a very warm welcome from coaches and teammates at practice today. He said, “It’s an emotional feeling unlike anything else.”
Kucherov on breaking record for most points in a season by a Russian player, “It’s definitely a special moment. Thanks to all the guys in the room for helping me out, I wouldn’t be where I am now. It’s a team effort.”
TRADE: The Lightning have traded forward J.T. Miller to Vancouver for a conditional first-round pick in 2020, a third-round selection in 2019 and goaltender Marek Mazanec. Should the Canucks not make the playoffs in 2019-20, the first-round selection will move to the 2021 draft.
I will spend the remainder of the season on maternity leave as we get ready to welcome our third baby and second girl into the mix!
BIG weekend ahead with her Pappous’ Jersey retirement Sunday February 25th and possible arrival any day now!
Ready to POP! Final broadcast of the season for me was Monday night vs Carolina as baby is expected to arrive any day now. Thank you to my
@nhlblackhawks
and
@nbcschicago
family for making this season a special one for the two of us 😊.
I asked Victor Hedman what Kucherov means to this team, breaking Lecavalier’s record, he paused, “It’s phenomenal... I’m lost for words trying to describe him as a player.”
Unbelievable love and support from the crowd here at the NHL All-Star game. Standing ovation and “Brian Boyle” chant for the former Bolt. We’re all fighting for you Boyler. 💪🏼

Welcome (officially!) to the
@boltsradio
call,
@caleychelios
!
She is now our radio analyst & digital reporter, serving as color analyst for all of our road games and filling in on home broadcasts as needed. 🎤
Quick visit in the booth from the Olympian herself
@KendallCoyne
! Love seeing her run around the rink tonight, one of the greatest leaders in the game.
She’s INCREDIBLE! I will 100% be buying her children’s book “Breaking the Ice” for my daughter. The great
@ManonRheaume
came on the Catching Up with Caley podcast this week to talk about her NHL debut with the Lightning and her new children’s book. Podcast drops tomorrow!😊
Chris Vosters is an incredible talent and even better person. I have no doubt he’ll have a phenomenal broadcasting career with his skill set and work ethic. I’m proud to have called games with him over the last couple seasons and grateful for all the work he did with the Hawks.
Hedman and Palat both said Sergachev was the difference in the game. Hedman,”Sergachev was our best player tonight. Big hit had a real good fight, got the whole bench going. Even though they scored the next goal we were still jacked up about that.”
Stamkos post loss to Carolina said team got “Outclassed” and “Continue to be the free wheeling team that thinks that we can just come into games and win because we’re skilled.”
Stamkos on winning the Cup and watching Hedman win the Conn Smythe, “It’s just love and admiration. One of the best feelings in the world and I’m so grateful I get to share this moment with Heddy.”
More good news for Bolts fans…After receiving approvals from local health and government officials, as well as the NHL, the Lightning will welcome approximately 14,800 fans for the Stanley Cup Semifinals
BriseBois on Cooper’s future, “If I hadn’t resigned Coop when I did I would be doing it right now. There’s no sense in looking for the next Coop when I have the original.” He said he has tremendous faith in him.
Found this guy housing popcorn in the press box and we decided to invite him on the radio call tonight. Always wearing our TEAM TROY bracelets, missing your voice on the calls. We love you!

This is a first for me. But it’s what happens when you work with hall of fame broadcasters … prime rib in between periods. What a league. Thanks Pat Foley 🙌🏼
We had a great time at the grand opening of the new Cheli’s Chili pop up shop at the United Center. The Blackhawks did an amazing job with it. The best chili🌶️if you don’t believe me ask my daughter ⬇️.
Kucherov was asked if he thought of winning the Hart when he came to Tampa, “When I made the team all my thoughts was just win the Cup and bring the Cup back to Tampa. The people deserve it there. We’ve been playing good hockey, I’m sure if we keep the team we can bounce back.”
Fans on their feet to applaud the Lightning’s penalty kill effort. “VASY” chants after making a big stop on Rust. Lightning are 3/3 on the penalty kill with just under 5 left in the third.
Andrei Vasilevskiy at media day, “I want to say thank you to the Tampa Bay organization for giving me that opportunity to be the number one in the best club in the world. That’s all I needed was that opportunity and I have to keep working hard to stay at the top of my game.”
Very excited to join TSN this week as a studio analyst for the Canada vs USA games! I will not be covering the Lightning during this three game home stand but I’ll be following very closely. 🇺🇸vs 🇨🇦
Coleman on reaction to the trade said, “It came as a bit of a shock but I’m excited, thrilled about where it ended up being and a team that’s on such a roll. Excited to meet these guys and compete for a Cup.”
Ryan McDonagh talked about his decision to go back to school and finish his degree after this morning’s skate. He’ll be studying finance with the extra free time on the road this season.
Ready to POP! Final broadcast of the season for me was Monday night vs Carolina as baby is expected to arrive any day now. Thank you to my

and
@nbcschicago
family for making this season a special one for the two of us 😊.
Stamkos postgame, “I’ve been in the league a while, that was one of the worst back to backs. To be able to jump out to that 3-0 lead gave us some wiggle room, catch our breath. We were fatiguing toward the end of the game but we stuck with it, we didn’t break.”
Andrei Vasilevskiy wins the Vezina trophy for the first time in his career. He led the NHL with 39 victories, tied for fourth in shutouts with six, and had a 2.40 goals-against average and .925 save percentage in 53 games. Well done 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Victor Hedman on his fashion choice, “I mean look at the other guys, Halsy (Taylor Hall) , Boyler (Brian Boyle)...I think sparkle is the go-to. It represents my favorite color, blue, and obviously the lightning.”
After receiving approvals from local health and government officials, as well as the NHL, the Lightning will welcome approximately 13,500 fans for the second round.
After an incredible summer, wedding and honeymoon I’m ready to get back into hockey mode 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼Just touched down in Montreal to check in with several
