On this day last year I spent several hours with police reporting an attack, after a stranger tried to rape me in the street as I walked home. It was horrendous, but fortunately he ran off when I (eventually) screamed, so I believed I had got away relatively unscathed.

Two and a half months later I returned to work for a few days a week. I am still waiting to access the specialist support services I was referred to a year ago - they are completely overstretched. The £1.5m funding announced to boost support is nowhere near enough for survivors.

For me, these symptoms included hypervigilance, panic attacks, migraines, agoraphobia, insomnia and dramatic weight loss. Eventually I could no longer work. I told my doctor I could go back after a couple of weeks - she laughed sympathetically and signed me off for a month.

Have now read this in full and it is bang on - if workers have decided, after a torrid few years of going above and beyond almost constantly, to redraw some boundaries to protect their health and personal lives, that is not a problem to be 'fixed'
