Today I saw a tweet about getting two losses and a bye for 32 CP at a local, and another where a 2-1 record won a 6-person MSS on resistance. Some day 2 players at larger regionals will get LESS CP than someone going 2-1 at a 6-person local. Locals CP needs to be reworked 🧵(1/5)

Insanely privileged take I’m fortunate that I can afford travel and entry, but for many people, $70 is a week of groceries or an energy bill. This is a barrier to entry that actively discourages new players from joining the scene and favours wallet warriors for day 2 invites.

Day 2 is a different beast. Ended 8-6 overall and 68th place. Bit disappointed in my day 2 performance and missing t64 CP but learned some important lessons about how to play & build for a strong day 2 run. On the whole, super proud of my performance and first day 2! +100 CP

Just looked over the top cut teams for the VR S12 Challenge and Zacian was on 31 of 41 teams, putting its usage at 75.6%, which is both completely insane and exactly what I expected Broken ass Pokemon

My first worlds is finished, and I finished 76th out of 280ish with a 4-3 record, and only lost to day 2 players 😅 Didn’t quite make day 2, but I’m really happy with how I did overall. Going positive and placing that well in such a strong field is still a good result in my eyes

Got to 9-2 and then an unfortunate crit and a few poor plays knocked me to 9-5. Not how I wanted to end the tournament after playing so well all weekend, but still happy with the result and for getting to 9-2 in the first place. A good weekend overall! Top 32, +60 (172/400)

There have been so many features to make creating mons in game easier over the years, and now Tera shards are like 15 steps back. Getting enough shards to change types takes around 13-15 5 star raids of a specific type, 3-6 times per team. This is why people hack mons

Okay so turns out I got 10 CP from the IC rather than the 5 I thought, which puts me at 140. This makes a worlds invite more doable even if I miss t32 at one of the three EU regionals, especially if there are more ICs. The bwenty to worlds dream is still alive!
