The Big East is now a perfect 6-0 in the NCAA Tournament. They have 3 teams in the Sweet 16 for the 2nd straight year. They might've had more, but unbeknownst to everyone else in the country, the NCAA Committee imposed a 3-team cap on the 2nd best conference in the country.

Since February 1, Seton Hall is 8-2. Kevin Willard has them peaking at the right time. After starting 3-6 in the Big East, the Hall finished 11-8, and 20-9 in the regular season. I've said this before. It's Kevin Willard's best job in his 12 seasons in South Orange.

On New Years Eve, UConn was 3-0 in the Big East and Seton Hall was 0-3. Since then UConn has lost 5 of 6 and Seton Hall has won 5 of 6. Who would've thought?

I've been following Rutgers basketball since 1989. Never did I ever think they would land the #2 recruit in the country. And now they have the #2 AND #3 recruits. Steve Pikiell deserves a lifetime contract.

Without question that was Seton Hall's best win of the season 65-60 on the road at Creighton. Losing Kadary Richmond 3 minutes into the game and down by as much as 11 points.

Wake Forest's upset of #19 Clemson solidifies Rutgers metrics. Wake was squarely on the Quad 2 line at 75, and moved up to 69 in the NET

Great job by Steve Pikiell signing 6-11 JUCO center Emmanuel Ogbole. Rutgers has assembled a sizable front court with one of the best big men in the Big Ten in Cliff Omoruyi, a talented, rising soph in Antwone Woolfolk, and an athletic, hard-working, energizing big man in Ogbole

What a win by Rutgers, grinding it out in OT to beat Ohio State 68-64. Cam Spencer is the Player of the Game with 21 pts, 7 rebs, 6 assists and 4 steals. Mawot Mag had 15 pts. RU is 5-2 in the Big Ten, 1/2 game behind Purdue and very much a threat to win a Big Ten Championship

Seton Hall snaps an 8-game losing streak to Villanova and wins a rock fight at the Rock 66-56. Best defense the Hall has played all season. Kadary Richmond played like an All Big East performer with 20 pts, 6 rebs, 5 assists. And Dre Davis did too with 18 pts and 7 rebs
