i’m not sure where i saw myself at nearly 31, but making biscuits and gravy on a sunday morning like my dad used to when i was a kid, feeding bits of biscuits to my toddler while i cook my gravy, in a warm house on the first day of december, seems better than i could have made up

incredibly thankful for amazing foster parents like the one eli had before us. she asked to take him overnight so she could take him to the county fair tomorrow as a surprise. it gives us a lil break, and him, a chance to reconnect to an incredibly influential person in his life.

they say you can know a person by what’s on their nightstand (idk if that’s a thing, but keep listening). my nightstand has two different hair products (on gel, one creme), nyquil, a scrunchie is my hair is now too short for, and a cup of knitting needles and crochet hooks.

yo. i can't tell you how much butterfly clips were when i was a kid, but i'm pretty sure my mom told me they cost like, $5 each and that's why i couldn't get 5 of them at a time. you can get HUNDREDS for $5 on amazon right now. i had no idea.

I'm re-watching lost and i'd just like to shout out to anyone who did hair on this show. Sayid, Kate, Claire, Michael, Walt, Hurley, Rose, Rousseau, and Ana-Lucia all have textured hair that can be difficult to style consistently, not to mention maintain in humidity. So, BRAVO!
