@HarmlessYardDog In my state the driver would have won. There is a DOT easement on side of every road of usually 10ft. In that 10ft the law is clear, no permanent structures can be placed. A traditional mailbox is meant to destroy easily as it is not permanent. Once you block it and reinforce it
