@jstobs @gdmorejon Exploitation isn't a choice for capitalists. The only way to augment capital is by increasinging the surplus labour value taken from the total value produced by the worker. The degree of exploitation is irrelevant; even a 'well-paid' worker is exploited. Its not a moral question.

What we do know from empirical observation of the USSR (which was not socialist but strove towards socialism) is that the socialisation of petty domestic labour is a historically progressive act. Therefore, canteens and communal eateries will likely play an important role.

Marx chose the word dictatorship on purpose, and we should continue to use it where appropriate. A dictatorship denotes a regime can suspend the law and isn't constrained by legality, allowing it to be swift and bold. This is the *only* form of state that can forge a new society.

Fantastic RCP launch event today in Lancaster! The town was covered in posters, and lots of new people came along to hear about the founding of the RCP and our perspectives for the British revolution. Everyone from college students to taxi drivers is raring to get stuck in!

I don’t see an issue with a party on the left raising issues around unsustainable levels of migration to a country particularly when the most basic understanding of Marxism would tell you migration is almost entirely influenced by capital.

Best week of my life. I've never felt so inspired to build the IMT in Britain, and raise my own political level to that end. It feels like we are on the brink of something big. There is a sea of as-yet untapped potential amongst the youth, who are looking towards communism.

"British independence" from what exactly? It's not the job of communists to sow illusions in the imperialist EU, but celebrating the outcome of a factional dispute between two wings of the ruling class is out of touch with reality. Workers can feel that they're no better off.
