So today I was told as an adult without children or a dog I will always feel lonely as its those 2 things in which adults make friends with other adults. As someone who never wants children, and has a dog phobia, I'm clearly going to live a forever lonely life. Lovely.

I don't know how to even begin to explain the last 24 hours of my life .. Nan and I were due to fly to Alicante at 4pm yesterday. 3 steps away from getting on the plane she collapsed after feeling dizzy.... She couldn't move off the tarmac. Ambulance took THIRTEEN HOURS. 1/??

Today marks 1 year I lost a dear friend & colleague to covid. He was one of kindest men I've ever met. Just 2 days ago I learnt of a school friend's suicide. Not saying any of this for sympathy, but a reminder that people are grieving, struggling and let's be kind. Always.💕

I've had the most horrendous morning. Elderly gentleman lives in the flat above me and he wasn't answering his door, buzzer, shouts or knocks, post not been picked up in 5 days. Police phoned, anxious wait and he's alive but had a fall. Waiting on ambulance now. Still shaking. 💕
